So you are having audio/video sync issues when using the portable bluetooth speaker as well? What brand is it if you don’t mind me asking?
Is anyone else experiencing this?
My apologies for not answering your question. Are you referring to the audio/video sync setting or were you asking why perhaps you couldn’t pair the speaker with SYNC?
In order to control them from the front, you have to have the headrests WiFi connected to your phone, have your phone plugged into the USB port and then you have to turn off CarPlay to enable mobile app to use the FordPlay app to try to control what’s going on with the RSE. I say try because...
I’d go aftermarket if I was to do it all over. Can’t easily or quickly control the RSE from the front seat and even with playing with the time correction, it’s still hit or miss with the audio/video sync.

I’ve held off from posting a reply in this thread due to a minor revision that is necessary for this to work plug-n-play in the Expedition. That said, I have it installed and is a very nice piece that is totally worth the price if you don’t want to glue anything to or drill holes in your dash...
Pipe dream at that price.
This is where I'm hoping the price will end up being.
Piping the audio from the displays to only the middle and rear rows while allowing the front speakers to still be used for the radio/carplay/etc. is definitely something I'd like to see happen but I foresee it...
The green/orange wire at the rearview mirror is ignition switched 12vdc power and the black/white wire is chassis ground. There is also a green/brown wire there along with brown and blue wires for other stuff so be sure not to get the two green wires mixed up.
Same thing here and yes, only the driver seat and only when on high. Forgot to bring it up last time I was at the dealer but will try to remember the next time I go in.
No need to remove the seats. Think of it like an “H” with the seats being “:”. I tucked the back edge of it under the corners in front of the plastic covers on the middle row and the four plastic covers for the rear seat to keep in in place when tilting/sliding the seats for ingress/egress.
I...
Build dates literally define the window when a problem started with a vehicle line and when it was corrected. It could be that there was a problem with a batch of components, a deviation from a process due to trouble with a machine, a new software revision with an unknown bug or even just simple...
This was something I dealt with since new. I did a lot of digging and found out that the trailer connector is the culprit. Check for patina on the part of the plug going from the 7-pin connector to the 4-pin connector. You should see some sealant covering 4 holes left over from molding the plug...
Best is subjective. Showing off or making sure people know I’m doing well isn’t my style. My profession dictates I don’t get vehicles with light colored interiors. I couldn’t find a way to order the platinum with the ebony headliner and pillar covers. That trumped the message seats. After a...
Every time I’ve called about the floor mats for this vehicle, they’ve told me the same canned message of 6-8 weeks like they told you. I needed to get the 1st row and BSR cargo mat that are available now so I made the drive down to their factory store in Bolingbrook and while picking them up...
Not true on the vss PID being feed to the APIM. The coding is actually letting you do everything because it it programmed to allow use in motion in EU countries. When you enable it, you will notice that the speed limit sign changes to the standardized EU square white sign with red circle around...
Stopped by WeatherTech yesterday. They are saying this Friday they should be done with tooling and then it’s just a matter of a couple days for them to finally be ready for retail.
4x4 vehicles with the center console mounted shift knob have either:
A) 2H and 4A only if they are equipped w/o FX4 or HD tow pkg
or
B) 2H, 4A and 4L with the inclusion of a selectable electronic locking rear differential if they are equipped with either FX4 or HD tow pkg
4x4 vehicles with...
They're a safety feature like anything else safety related. Nice to have them should you ever need them but plenty of people make off the asphalt battlefield alive without them. If I would have had the option to add them when I ordered my truck, they would be in there but I didn't and I'm not...
If I could do it all over again, I'd go aftermarket. The amount of work to get them going is horrible unless you're siting in the second row and routing the audio through the vehicle sound system is laggy and requires the audio/video sync to be changed whenever they system looses it's bluetooth...
