Self Levelling? Platinum with tow package.

First, I’m not arguing for the sake of arguing. I’m stating my personal experiences. Second, none of the Expeditions I’ve owned have had the load leveling suspension so there is nothing diminished from my point of view. My personal experience with these vehicle’s load leveling suspensions is not...

Self Levelling? Platinum with tow package.

I can tell you from experience that the towing capabilities of these new Expeditions are not diminished by any means. I’ve towed quite a few Crossfires over the years, with my 14, my 17 and now my new 18, always with the same trailer. The 18 is by far the best tow on the road. Only thing that I...

Severe air vibration when front windows open

I’ve haven’t had it bad with the front windows down so much as I have found the buffeting the worst with the roof open to the full rearmost position. Sounds like a chinook when flying overhead.

    4th Gen Expy FORScan Modifications

Only changed the 2nd hex value. You lose the speed limit sign but get a circle with a red outline in its place. Still in MPH though so nothing really lost. The 2017 F150 and the 2918 Expy are pretty similar and what can be changed is much like that in the F150. You are correct about the IPC and...

    All-Weather Floor Mat Options

Yes, behind the third row cargo liner. It looks good in black and matches the rest of the ebony interior very well.

    All-Weather Floor Mat Options

I picked up the WeatherTech cargo liner tonight. It fits very nicely but since they come rolled up from the factory, the edges were curling up and it didn’t want to lay flat. I flipped it over and currently have it installed upside down to get it to lay correctly and will post pictures tomorrow...

    Raptor style grill lights

Welcome back. Doesn’t look bad but I think they need to be spaced a little wider like they are on the Raptor. Just my opinion and not bagging on you.

    8 weeks to order

Post a link to your specific build and price from fords website. Perhaps someone can locate that specific configuration on a Ford lot near them.

    All-Weather Floor Mat Options

You guys with your fancy strollers would get along great with my wife. LOL ;) You do know that the best option is the Graco Fastaction side-by-side. Inexpensive, easy to open AND close, has useable storage along with and cup holders/cubbies and it fits perfectly in the MAX with the 3rd row in...

Is Ford going to fix their website?

Agreed. Before their ‘upgrade’, it wasn’t the best parts site to use but it certainly wasn't the worst. Now it’s not just horrible to use, it’s nearly unusable so congrats on making all the ‘improvements’. The real sad part is the option to still use the third party sites doesn’t apply to the...

    All-Weather Floor Mat Options

WeatherTech now has a behind 3rd row seating cargo liner for the 2018 Expedition MAX for $119.95. Sadly, they do not have images of the actual Expedition cargo liner, just generic images of other vehicles. Part numbers are: 401092 - Black 411092 - Tan 421092 - Grey 431092 - Cocoa...

Almost new winter wheel and snow tire setup

I purchased and installed these on our 2017 because the 22” tires it came with had much to be desired in the snow/ice traction department. Had them on for about 500 miles before we traded it in on the 18 and since the new truck has much better all-season rubber on it, these didn’t get installed...

Slipping rear end (NOT THE WRONG FORUM)

Yup, same thing here x2. My wife, bless her heart, did it a couple days before we traded in our 2017 and then she did it again the day after we got the 18. Poor pickles didn’t even see it coming. In her defense, our driveway slopes a decent amount. And for those wondering, of course I helped...

    Trailer Hitch access cover removal??

The step uses a pin the same as any other 2" receiver hitch. I'd have to remove it for towing because I wouldn't have access to the trailer lighting plugs with the cover in place. I'd never leave it like the last picture, that was just to show how I cut it to fit the step.

    Trailer Hitch access cover removal??

We need a WT step installed to aid in getting stuff in and out of the back and weren't willing to look at an ugly gaping hole in the back so I modified the hitch cover so it can remain installed while we have the step installed. I'll still have to pull the cover when I'm towing but I'm willing...

    2018 Expedition Reviews

They should have had that thing trailering an ice house and loaded up with people and ice fishing gear if they were going to give it a credible “frozen lake in Minnesota” review. LOL Could have slalomed between tip-ups. :D
