Not sure how Crutchfield is not giving options. I've had no issues.
A little low on my priority list, but I'm eyeing this sucker up. Maybe after the holidays (got three kids that get more $$$ with each passing year...).

Key Points to Discuss:
Transmission type: from my understanding, these models come with the 10R80 10-speed automatic transmission. Please correct me if I’m wrong.
Correct.
Installation attempts:Has anyone here successfully installed a cooler on these newer Timberline/Expedition models? What...
If you haven't already, unplug the grommet from the both ends of the conduit. If you can't massage it in from there, take an object like fish wire and carefully pull it through. It'll work. I did mine over xmas break last year when it was a bit cold, but still managed.
The prices that Ford is commanding for just some of these trim parts are seriously ridiculous. I've looked into getting an extra front grille to backup a project I have in mind, but nearly $1500 is out of touch.
Congrats on the buy!
Well, for starters, FORScan still only has full functionality with Windows based PC's, so Mac is out of the question. I've heard some people in similar situation as yourself where they've gotten very cheap Windows tablet PC's (step above Chromebooks) for this sort of...
Looks like there is a small update as it went from 2.3.66 --> 2.3.67. This type of update (major.minor.patch) is usually just a patch to fix bugs. A 'minor' update would add features.
I still doubt that FORScan will be able to do much with this as I still believe that limitations are within...
Got it. Selling sounds like your option to liquidate. You'd probably get a quicker deal and more money out of the take-off's with the sensors still mounted. I bought these sensors (Autel is a good brand) and cloned the ID's into them. You can catch these on sale sometimes to maybe get them...
Are you a snowbird? I see your location is FMFL, but the mention of snow says otherwise. May not be bad to swap out the sets seasonally if that's the case. You'll get the best of both worlds, that is unless the Raptor wheels just look so good you can't take them off.
HD Tow is a must for me...
I found 2023 F150 Raptor beadlock wheels and would love to use them on my Expy for winder and dirt road riding. I am hoping to run 33 inch M+S tires. I have a few questions:
- Will this wheel with a 33" tire work without modification?
Yes
- Will tire sensors on my 22" wheels work on the...
In regards to that specific trim piece you are looking to remove, everything should unsnap. The floor console has to be removed to make clearance for the lower clips as well as the steps to remove radio/HVAC face plate.
Something like that would come only with a whole new seatbelt assembly.
Best bet is to find one if possibly out of a junk yard, especially a you-pick-you-pull type. Even then an auto recycler will probably only sell as a whole.
I have noticed this to be a nuisance that whenever I hook up a trailer the system deactivates. On my 2018, I had the old analog blind spot mirrors which I greatly appreciated and liked. I don't know why Ford couldn't at least equip the tow package with outside mirrors that could be BLIS and...
Same here.
Once upon a time I worked for them. When selling the warranty you would name off things NOT covered (such as worn brake pads).
Bought quite a few cars. With MaxCare never had issues with coverage. My current truck is covered by it although I've yet to need it.
This is a pretty good watch. These guys have a good shop. I've bought block off door plates from them that I've done a write-up on.

Just want to follow up on details that I put together on the various Bilstein 5100 front struts since I can't edit my original post anymore. The F150 4x4 is a quite a bit bigger when you factor in all dimensions. My biggest concern with it as I have experienced it is that the extended length...
AFAIK, there is no "official" spreadsheet for the Expeditions. Most of what we started with are the F-150 spreadsheets highlighting modifiable features and then verified by trial and error by fellow users. This is pretty much how I've done it.
With a suspension lift, you will gain the difference that the Timberline adds over a non-Timberline model.
Spacer lift I think you have to be specific on the front end as it's leveled from the factory...
Looks like this was just implemented? I love the new setup and have always thought this was the best way to layout a site to keep things organized and relevant within model years and generations. Good luck with all the migrations!
Just to amend one thing, don't use a c-clamp, as you can possibly crack/crush the EPB mechanism compressing the piston. This is noted in the picture above from the service manual as well.
That may be a possibility as MagSafe can charge just about as fast as a plug in, so a lot of draw. Also, state of charge when placing on the pad can also be a factor. Most Qi’s were originally intended to maintain a charge while in use.
They also could have updated the WACS as the MY’s went...
