    No CD player.?..Why?

And then when some jerk breaks into your car and steals that carousel you lose more money in purchased music than you had invested in the carousel. Super easy to copy the files onto a new $16 USB stick again.

    2018 Leveled Expedition w/ 34's (Readylift)

Cut the axle stud, bout a quarter to half of an inch. I measured mine with a caliper and cut them with a sawzall and a bunch of blades. Fits my F150 rims nicely with the center caps.

    Moab Advice

Thanks everyone. After driving around Arches yesterday we got the opportunity to seek out dirt today. We hit Fisher Towers and for comparison purposes I didn't air down. Then we popped down to Onion Creek. While the family ate a picnic lunch I aired down to 25psi. Wish I hadn't left my...

Last year. Today So, technically the right tires are off road, that counts right? :D Took my family down UT-128 as the sun was setting and blew their minds. Can't wait to get out exploring. We did get to fight some snow in Denver before heading over.

    Standard vs Max sluggish

Looks like there might be a different ratio between regular and Max, I wasn't aware of this. https://media.ford.com/content/dam/fordmedia/North%20America/US/product/2022/expedition/pdf/22Expedition-Tech-Specs.pdf

    No CD player.?..Why?

Which proves the point, how many CD's can you fit on a modern USB drive the size of your thumbnail?

    No CD player.?..Why?

8 track sounds so much better than a CD.

    Autostop eliminator

Since I had my cam phasers done, mine has been charging ever since, except for one day, the ASS worked all day long then stopped working again. It worked plenty before going into the shop. Strange.

    PPE aftermarket transmission oil pan

I think that's the deep one, the regular one lists the Expy for 2018-22 https://ppepower.com/collections/transmission-upgrades-ford/products/transmission-pan-heavy-duty-cast-aluminum-ford-10r80?variant=42081934049523

    General lack of aftermarket mods

Not to pollute up a Ford forum, but I sold this to buy the Expy. I loved it but it wasn't as good for long distance family travels as I'd have liked. Funny thing is my new tires on the Expy are the same overall height as those on the LC, but the Expy is huge and makes em look so much...

    General lack of aftermarket mods

Most Expy's won't go offroad. Also, killing the LC and making the Sequoia fill it's spot in the USA helped get those aftermarket off road parts out faster. I'm another who was looking at the previous gen Sequoia, didn't like the new one and needed to move sooner than later and ended up happily...

    PPE aftermarket transmission oil pan

If you are supposed to throw away and replace the $80 plastic pan I'd rather replace it with one of these, I'm interested as well.

    What is this part?

I'd be taking it back in, who knows what else they forgot to do.

    Next Mod?

I guess that's a part of the platinum package. I'd leave it if you aren't going to do the rest of the chrome too. It's part of what makes that package special, and then you'd almost just look like a plain old limited. If it were me, I'd black it all out but that's because I have a special...

    Hands-Free Liftgate Madness

Two weeks ago I was using my hitch mount motorcycle tire changer, and the tub of lube fell off the bumper and rolled under the truck setting off the hatch which opened into the changer causing a small scratch. Thanks to @LyoddChrissmiss pictures I was able to disconnect mine today. All done no...

Yea, I was pretty surprised myself. They shipped pretty quickly, though I was worried at first because they didn't send the "Your order shipped" email notification until after it had already arrived.

    Moab Advice

@m3olsen I don't have that particular solution, though I've seen some that folks have made using air lines and connectors that works pretty well. If I did it more often I'd probably do the same thing. I did pick up this kit. Based on other kits I've seen with this compressor it seems like a...

    Moab Advice

Yea, based on what I've seen and read, no real need to air down for worry of getting stuck, it seems more to make the ride better for the occupants of the vehicle and to deal with any potential rock damage along the way. I've got the stuff to deal with airing down but figured I'd see if anyone...

I've got that sitting here next to me. It's got post it notes sticking out of it with notes written on them from this thread. ;) I bought the combo with the GPS tracks to use with my Garmin out there. Thanks for the info here from everyone, can't wait for vacation to start.

    Moab Advice

I'm taking the family to Moab for Thanksgiving week. I've been reading a ton on all the trails and stuff to do in the area but wanted to get some firsthand advice from folks who might know the area and know our vehicles. I've got a stock Limited that I swapped for 18" wheels today. We want to...

Let's See Those Lifted / Big Tire Gen 4s!!

Went just a little bigger today, but down a lot on the wheel size. From soccer mom mall crawler... To a Moab family adventure vehicle... Went from the stock 285/45R22 to 275/70R18. Little taller, little skinnier, little lighter overall. After seeing YogiTheBear's pictures, I knew those...

What Have You Done to Your 4th Gen This Week?

Still loving them. Easy to clean, when I'm not being lazy and actually pull them and clean them. Keeps all the dirt from our gravel parking lot at the mountain bike trail from getting into the carpet. I've gotten so used to them I forgot what it looks like without them. Congrats on the new...
