So I did this today. The jury is still out on whether it will stay. I like it from certain angles and others not so much.
The OEM ones only come with the red FX. I do not like red much at all. Found these “Ford Officially Licensed” ones in black and silver. It is the appropriate font for the...
Loaded her up with a bunch of tools and paint and drove to the cabin to start painting the bathroom.
Brought my trailer back so I can haul my DR Field and Brush mower back down.
I am pretty sure a 33” will fit underneath the 34” will be close. Pretty sure there is someone around here that put a 35” underneath but had to do some cutting.
As for sliders this is likely your best looking and functioning option.
Just order the 90” model...
Here is a video that does an great job demonstrating my a leveling strut such as the 5100 is superior in design to a strut spacer.
I can only speak to the 2015-2017 models as that is what I have and am running 5100s from the F150. They are a direct bolt on. Any F150 front strut or coilover...
From a design and engineering standpoint leveling struts like the 5100s are far superior to a strut spacer set up.
Your ride will be worlds better with the Bilsteins vs factory struts with a spacer.
5100s vs Bilstein 4600 paired with a spacer you will likely not notice the difference on these...
If you want a small lift skip the ReadyLift and get the Bilstein 5100s. They are adjustable height and the max for the 2019s is 1.6” in the front and 1.5” in the rear.

Perfect for those wanting...
If the trans wasn’t such a pain compared to the others I would likely do it at 50.
If you don’t drive much in 4wd 75k on the front diff would be no issue.
I need to get under this truck and figure out where the differential vents are and either lengthen the tubes or put some sort of breather...
As another posted. If you are actually going to be using your truck Offroad 22s are a horrible idea and 20s aren’t a great idea. From a capability standpoint let alone a cost standpoint.
I am a fan of more sidewall myself and not a very wide tire either, just flush or slightly onset of the...
50k
front diff, t case, rear diff, spark plugs (yes I know not fluid)
75k
Trans
Brake fluid got done early too thanks to brake booster/master cylinder failure.
But I watch the color and it usually lasts about 75k
What codes did they give you????
Actually sounds a lot like the throttle body issue some folks have experienced.
You’ll never get a hold of Keith or any other regional manner for that matter.
Seeing if I was able to notice a power gain mainly.
In some of the tuning threads people mentioned better mileage on 93 vs 87 even without a tune.
Figured I would give it a go.
If it is an upgraded/beefed up ball joint that is a standard style that is fine. Likely more desirable since you are in Michigan I am guessing you get lots of road salt like we do here (probably more). Uniballs and road salt do not play nicely.
BDS uses an upgraded Moog standard style ball...
Nothing wrong with the Motorcraft belts in particular. Many moons ago I was fighting some belt slippage on my 92 Mustang tried a couple different brands (including Motorcraft) then I slapped on a Gatorback and had no more slippage.
So I just took a liking to the Gatorback/crosshatch vs the...
Thanks.
I have a 2016 and Summit shows a part number of 4060547.
The picture is correct for the rib pattern on Summit but says actual item may vary.
Picture on Amazon has the straight rib pattern. Guess I’ll call Summit to see if they can confirm which rib pattern before ordering.
