    Are bilsteins really worth it?

You can use Fox 2.0s for the F150 for the fronts but no Fox option for the rear. If weather ever cooperates on my day off my Fox 2.0s will get installed.

    2015 Tranny relearning?

I bet You forgot to reconnect one of your vacuum hoses when you installed your struts or the hose got damaged.

    Are bilsteins really worth it?

This is how I would describe mine. They are certainly more firm than OEM but the steering is a lot more solid as well. Granted I have the Bilsteins for an F150 up front. I also stepped up to E load tires at the same time. I have a set of Fox 2.0s to replace the Bilsteins. Weather just needs to...

    Are bilsteins really worth it?

Yes they are worth it. Much nicer ride and don’t leak after 50k miles or so. But if you have the load leveling shocks they are not a direct swap. You’ll have to buy the standard Coilovers from a junkyard and swap the factory shock for the Bilstein then swap that for the load leveling coilover...

2015 Expedition Bilsteins installed - rear problem

The Nivomat style self leveling style struts are self contained. No external air or hydraulics.

What tires are you guys running?

Granted you are in Florida so likely not a consideration for you but Ridge Grapplers aren’t snow rated. That is a no go for me here.

    Aftermarket Remote Start

Or if you have a 15+ just buy the key and add remote start in Forscan. Will cost you about $50 or slightly more if you don’t have an ODBII scanner. But they come in very handy so you’ll get lots of use out of it aside from programming.

2015 Expedition Bilsteins installed - rear problem

The standard ones are not welded on they are pressed. Surprised with a 15 you were able to knock the fronts off. Mine front and rear were a beast to get off. That looks weird compared to my standard rears. I am guessing you have the self leveling nivomat struts which I do not believe are a...

    Second row bench seat

Thread button head bolts in the threaded holes and buy plugs like posted earlier in the others. Then buy the floor liner of your choice that is for the captains chairs. Take a heat gun and form the floor liner to the hump and you’ll be just fine. Granted I have a 16 but I pulled the center seat...

'14 with 3/2 readylifts, will stock wheels work with upgraded uca's?

Glad to hear it. Looking forward to getting my Foxes on sometime soon and hope to have the same results. My Bilsteins ride great the clunk is just beyond annoying.

Is it worth downsizing the wheels and tires?

Granted I do take mine off road and the main reason I got Es since I don’t really tow but my E rated tires are very nice riding on the road.

Mysterious stain on the sides of the third row

Did not realize they got rid of the rear vents.

Mysterious stain on the sides of the third row

Sure the rear vents did not get left open? Though that sure is a lot of crystallization for just rain water. The rectangular cubby is almost completely crystalized. I would sit back there while in a car wash. Check the headliner. And the seals around the rear window.

Pedal Commander on 2017 EB EL

What is the issue with keeping it connected? Not like it plugs into an ODB port or one that you need to plug other things into from time to time.

'14 with 3/2 readylifts, will stock wheels work with upgraded uca's?

They also hit full droop when off-roading. No need for skinnier tires as there is no contact. A skinnier tire won’t bring the arm away from the coil. We have had noting but freezing temps or rain on my days off so my Fox 2.0s and BDS arms anxiously await install. Kids are out of school next...

Pedal Commander on 2017 EB EL

No need for a scanner a scanner just make it easier. It is the same as spending money on a performance clutch, adjustable clutch cable, or aftermarket quadrant on a manual transmission car. Or paying extra for a lighter trigger on a gun. The delay is always there with the factory setup. Sure...

    Bilsteins and spring perches

You have a 2008 model and the perches were not pressed on they just fit snuggly and a little sledge action would knock them off without issue. Ford has since changed the design and the are pressed on. If you don’t have a press to get them off you have to cut and deform the shock tube to get...

    Bilsteins and spring perches

With a press it is not too difficult. Without a press you’ll drill a hole to relieve the pressure (do it outside and with safety glasses) then cut the tubes and pound them off.

    Bilsteins and spring perches

All pressed on. You won’t find new perches anywhere trust me. All the factory struts now included pressed on perches. You can pull older ones from a junk yard. NAPA perches can be special ordered separately but they do not fit Bilsteins.
