    Do you see any sort of infrared facial tracking cameras in your vehicle? I remember you posting about this a couple weeks back. Now I'm wondering if Ford included all the cameras required for BlueCruise on the other trim levels but just never activated the feature.

    Timberline BlueCruise Icon

    I'm pretty sure BlueCruise needs facial tracking cameras to be fitted at the factory so it's not something that can come later. I don't know if they build those in at the factory though, but if they did, you should be able to see the infrared LEDs with your phone's camera when it's dark outside.

    Someone really needs to make some sort of big enough safe that you can bolt to the empty spot in the 2nd row so you can store laptops, firearms, cameras, and such inside. One thing I hate about SUVs is the lack of secure storage inside.

    That sounds really cool! I really hope Ford makes an extended length Timberline soon so even you can overland even with people who don't want to modify their vehicles! I'm pretty sure you already know this, but if it is a Platinum with BlueCruise, lifting it is not something you want to do.

    @PhoenixRizez I was told that if you get a 3M UV clear film applied to all the windows that isn't laminated on the vehicle it would make it very hard to break in. Is that true? When we get our Ford Expedition, our family might go that route.

    Living in California, I find it much easier and faster to find some random farmer's field when nature calls. :p I don't completely get the hybrid trend (I'm in my late 20s), but on those F-150s that hybrid 7.2kW ProPower on board is really awesome if you camp off grid a lot.
