Just a little history...I've always ordered my Fords, ten of them over the past 13 years. I've always paid $300-$400 over invoice. Today I submitted a 'bill of materials' for a 2022 Platinum with a list of Invoice Price and MSRP, thinking I would be treated as I have always been. I used to...
Had my 2018 Platinum in for an oil change and air/pollen filter change. They did the Cam Phaser recall, even though I had no symptoms. After the flash, the vehicle failed the State Emission inspection, and now have outside mirrors that have a mind of their own, along with drive mode errors...
2022 Owners Manual, Quick Start Guide, and Supplemental Owners Manual all in .PDF format from MotorcraftService.com site

This may or not be the problem. There is a TSB #21N08 which addresses "engine shudder". I'm not sure if this is the problem, but the accelerator pedal is not directly connected to the engine. It is actually a drive by wire situation.
I always ordered my Ford vehicles (11 vehicles since 89!). I was always told that the highest priority for a retail order was 10. Any number below that was for a stock order. I could be wrong, but I think you have the highest priority for a retail order.
kbb.com has a build and price for the 2022 Expedition. If you go through the whole build process on the site, it will give you the MSRP, along with Dealer invoice, at the end, based on your zip code. It is not clear that it adds/includes destination charge, which is pretty significant these...
2018 Platinum at 30K with no problems. Only been to dealer for maintenance items like oil changes. Nervous about doing the s/w updates for the cam phasers/engine shudder. It's the old saying don't fix it if ain't broke. I have no rattle at start up. But I'm told if I don't do the...
Thanks to the former Ford CEO, Hackett, for cost cutting, the CD player was eliminated after 2018, along with other small features such as the front windshield deicer, conversation mirror, and others.
I still think it is unavailable. If you look at the current order guide, it is not available for retail orders, which kinda makes me think that if you order a 2022, you won't have the option. I'm on board with everyone. I have a 2018 Platinum and I absolutely hate the stop/start feature...
I believe it was temporary (the auto start/stop delete) due to the lack of computer chips. I am pretty sure you are no longer able to delete the start/stop function in 2022 Expy's.
Stay away from the Hankook Dynapro's They came standard on my 2018 Platinum. They are noisy and have absolutely no traction in wet weather, not to mention light snow. Ford's way of cheapening a really nice vehicle, by putting the worst possible tires on it as standard equipment!!!
Dealer is supposed to inspect vehicles when they come off of the truck. They should have never accepted it for sale, if these issues were present. Shame on that dealer
Sounds like it's your lane departure warning which is a 'feature'. Try using the turn signal when you're changing lanes. If the vibration stops, that's it!! You can turn it off with a switch located above the sync screen, and adjust how it operates under settings
The active suspension is tied to drive control. I can only assume the failure of one of the active suspension shocks set the code. Not sure which modes changes how the active suspension reacts, other than in Sport mode, which causes a stiffer ride.
Tires make all of the difference in the world. My 2018 Expedition Platinum came with Hankook Dynapro's. My previous 2015 Expedition Platinum came with Pirelli Scorpion Verde Plus 22" tires. Both the Hankook's and Pirelli's are All Season tires meant for a smooth ride. There is a major...
There are special tar and tree sap removers out there that work well. Try any auto parts store. You should take care of the tree sap, especially from Pines right away. Letting it sit will cause it to etch the clearcoart
Since COVID, my Expedition sits in the garage for many days without being driven/started. I seem to get the notification after about 10 days after not being driven/started. If you are getting the notification after just driving the truck, then there is something wrong, probably battery or...
Had this happen a number of times on my 2018 Platinum. The first time it happened was during a Sirius/XM update. I've found that shutting the vehicle off, opening and closing the driver's door and waiting 30 seconds before starting seems to fix it
