    Don't do this. It is too harsh. Spray Lysol were the cabin filter sits. It will get sucked into the system with the fan on high. Its the cheapest and easiest, I have found.

    The dealer performs a oil consumption test. The vehicle is topped off and driven for 1000mi. It is then re-checked. One Quart or more, they warranty the engine. Anything less is considered normal. You are supposed to check oil on a regular basis, not at oil changes.

    Lysol 'linen' spray works good. Remove the cabin filter and spray into hvac, air intake with the fan on high.

    1/2 qt sitting through out engine and an other 1/2 in the filter. Just Drain and re-fill it. It is not an exact science. A little over won't hurt anything. The manual says 'between the hash marks on the dip stick'. "the level is OK". The new vehicles, dash info center also checks the oil level.

    What oil filter are you using? A cheap one, without the anti-drain back, will dry start the engine.

    WRONG. Read it again. The last column Ford part#/FORD SPECIFICATION! Ford XO-5w20-QSP, WSS-M2C930 that is syn-blend. Ford probably knows more about there engines, than you do.

    Its a 2000 and yes is in great condition. He broke my front plate bracket. Its still loose on one side and I need a new one. The tow hook took most of the hit. You guys with plastic bumpers, would of been visiting a body shop.

    I read aluminum bodies flex more and its tough on windshields. The 'Michelle' glass is $899. My glass coverage has a $0 deductible. In 30ys, I have only replaced 1 and had 1 chip fixed.

    Read your manual. It calls for (ford part#)XO5w20QSP motor oil. That is syn-blend, not conventional. You spent $25 on oil analysis, but use cheapo oil?
