Can't figure out these AC problems

It would if there was a bad connection in the cable. Place the red lead on the positive battery post and the black lead on chassis ground/engine. If you read battery voltage then you are probably ok, if not then you have a bad connection.

Can't figure out these AC problems

If the fuse isn't getting power then changing it out for another won't accomplish anything. It won't have power either. See page 1 of the ac wiring diagrams. When you tested the fuse did you check the light or meter first to make sure it works? You also need a good ground for the test. If you...

Help diagnosing intermittent A/C on 2011 EL Limited

If you don't have a meter that can measure dc amps you should take it to a shop. Otherwise you'll just keep tossing parts. Your symptoms are usually from excessive current draw in that circuit.

Can't figure out these AC problems

Check fuse #105 in the battery junction box with a test light or meter. The circuit is hot at all times. If the fuse is good and powered, check voltage on pin 1 of the blower motor control connector. It should be a brown/yellow wire. Inspect ground 203 behind the lower right kick panel. This is...

So my check engine light went away.. is everything good?

That is an emissions related code. Basically means the exhaust is "dirty" as compared to a system that is within specifications. FYI: https://www.obd-codes.com/p0420 Since you are in Cali, you will be taking care of the problem eventually. Sooner is usually lower cost than later.

    Weird problem

Here in the south "crank" has slighly different meanings in the automotive field. Crank and crunk are used interchangeably also. Is the starter engaging with the engine turning when trying to start?

    Weird problem

The fuel pump circuit is not part of the Can Bus so you will not get codes. You have to be careful when grabbing the sjb (smart junction box) from a junk yard as Ford made wiring changes during production. There is a thread on here by Bedrck47 where he runs the member through installing a jumper...

Transmission Jerks when Coming to Stop

I'm curious as to how long you think a transmission is supposed to last without being serviced? It has been running for the last 12 years....

    Dash vent problems

It all depends on where the leak is. There is a vac line that comes through the firewall then to a manifold on the ac controls. It can leak there or in the control itself.

Turbo coolant leak issue now on wifes 2016

Rode an H2 a little back in the 70's when I was a teenager. Scared the living snot out of me so much I came back with a sheet eat'in grin......wasn't called the Widow Maker for the heck of it. All you had to do was up the carbs 2mm, put on a set of Denco chambers and you ran 10 flat in the 1/4 -...

What was the ambient temp when you read the static? Was the engine run and we are dealing with a hot ac system? Expy parked out in the hot sun or shade? Earlier you stated that when you jumped the relay it worked, need to do the same in-order to get the operational pressures. From...

This doesn't answer your question but did remind me of my youth (30-40's). Saab 93 Turbo in the mountains, hammer down once I crested the top. Grin from ear to ear.

    07 A/C not working.

Pulling out that low of refrigerant indicates a leak. Did the recovery unit perform a leak test? Low side pressure is too high, high side pressure is about right. How much oil did it pull out? Have you added any oil in the past or this recharge? First item to check is the txv (expansion...

09 expedition AC Warm at idle, cool while driving.

To hot for my old azz to work in those temps. If you want to play around you can recover/recharge to 90% of listed capacity and see how much the pressures drop for the 110 ambient. If the evap drops below freezing you should have enough latent heat in the cabin to keep it from freezing up...
