    How good is ESP coverage?

    I'm right on the edge of my 5 year powertrain warranty and have a coolant leak. I see some yellow crust on the bottom of the water pump so I'm fairly certain that is the primary leak point. Are leaks like those found on the turbo coolant lines covered under ESP? What about the heater core hoses?

    I was at Costco last night. They had the Interstate H7 for $180 with a 36 month prorated warranty. I would have thought the Interstate would carry the best warranty but for it to be shorter AND prorated just made no sense at all.

    It went perfectly. The inspection service came to the house, went over the truck, and took it for a drive. Everything was good so a few days later the paperwork arrived in the mail documenting the coverage. I checked with Ford and the coverage was in the system.

    That looks like a complete pain in the ass to drain compared to the JTL model. The JTL canister just unthreads and you pour it out. The Ford Performance site says: Canister is easy to drain by removing PCV lines off canister, removing canister and draining oil. I'd stick with the JTL model.
