    Rear A/C question

You may have a little problem with the output from the solar panels. In order to charge a battery you need 1.5-2.0 volts more than the rated battery voltage. Just because it states 380 watts you need to know at what the voltage is also. Reserve Capacity - The number of minutes a fully charged...

    Expedition Expedition to Alaska

Oh man, an epic ride to say the least. If time & the season allows plus you have the nerve, a ride to the Arctic Circle and Prudhoe Bay would be the cherry on top. It surely isn't for the weak at heart though. Add to the list of things to take: cold weather clothing for nights rain gear a bunch...

09 expedition AC Warm at idle, cool while driving.

Plenty of threads on here about ac issues. First thing to check is the airflow through the condenser/radiator. Wash both with low pressure water to remove any dirt or sand. After checking the wiring diagram, Ford in their infinite wisdom now controls the climate system with modules. Fan speed...

yep...Exporer it is, still seems like a lot of work just to get an alternator out. You should see what the OEM's have done with the starters on the new semi's. Suckers are stuck inside the frame rail on some of them. All in the name of mpg.... Exploder below: Service Manual: CHARGING SYSTEM...

Help, california is insane, mpg mods needed

It is the way of the times where our Millenial Generation is unable to resolve a problem on their own. Nothing wrong with coming on a forum and asking for help but the fact is the first generation Expy is a tank - no matter what you do to it the gas mileage will stink. Make all these mods and...

2003 EB 4X2 Stalling at Intersections.

Since there are no codes stored that means the data being sent to the pcm while the engine is running, is rational and within tolerances. So the problem is outside of what the pcm is monitoring.

    Ignition switch poping fuses

Nope, you need to get the wiring diagram for the starting circuit for your year then troubleshoot it. One of the usual spots can be in the steering column area if you use the tilt function.

    2003 Expedition 6G alternator upgrade.

That depends whether the engine is off, idling or headed down the highway. You should be pulling 150-180amps depending on system voltage when the amp hits. How long is the batt voltage at 11? Check member "Gain-Mob" on here. He was doing a "little" upgrade on his expy using dual alternators...
