I have drive a vehicular mullet.

Business in the front. Party in the back. I starting to think about a more rugged wheel/tire setup. I know there are a ton of threads on here already that I’ve read but one thing I can’t seem to find any concrete opinions on is 18 inch vs 20 inch wheels. I don’t want to change the outer...

2nd row cents blow cool air when rest of car blows hot?

The vents may not be connected. There have been a couple of owners on here with similar issues.

Update all versions of Ford Sync 3 to the latest Sync 3.4

Idk if this helps or not because I’m on iPhone but if I’m not streaming media from my phone when using Waze I go to the waze voice and sound settings and change it to ‘play sound via Bluetooth phone call’. This may help with your issue.

Prospective owner with a question on cargo

I stand corrected. I had gone out and looked at mine and clearly should have turned on the light.

What model of Expedition do you have?

That thing is so stealth that owners can’t even tell the details.

You realize that picture is from a MAX, correct? The shorty is 18 inches at maximum.

Rear hatch dirt and spray build up

This is true. I opted for the little roll up mat thing on the weathertech mat for the rear and I’m glad I did. The bumper will dirty up pants and bare legs with severity.

Rear hatch dirt and spray build up

A friend of mine had this model Subaru with this factory spoiler, it made a massive difference on the rear deck lid in regards to dirt accumulation. I’m not suggesting anything drastic, nor do I hold any education in aerodynamics so talking out of my ass is a real, and probably frequent...

    Rattle at start up??

Yes, a rapid press depress will stop this. You don’t even need to let them fold all the way in, just the motion of folding stops it so you can press that button in a quick succession.

Rear hatch dirt and spray build up

It’s a major drag having a freashly detailed vehicle pick up grass clipping and storing them on the bumper while driving through your neighborhood. Their needs to be some change to the rear spoiler that directs some airflow off the roof and down the rear. I don’t think this will ever be done...

    Paint touch up

I completely relate and it sucks. I have a minute scratch below my door handle that my knife belt clip inflicted and I see it every time I open the door which causes me to relive that event. It’s the only imperfection on the entire vehicle and I still obsess over it. It happened almost two...

2018+ Post Pictures Thread!- Lets see those shiny new trucks!

Depends on how reliable the Navigator has been up to that point. If we feel it’s a safe bet to keep it into high mileage we’ll keep it. In a perfect world we’d have a vehicle that is comfortable and roomy for long family road trips and one to tow and overland with. We really screwed up...

    surging under light throttle

I have one turn I take I my neighborhood where this happens. It’s a down hill left hand 90° turn where I’m slowing down on approach and let off the brake just after apex. I think the downhill is what causes it because of the increase in speed when releasing the brake... idk. It’s a weird...

When is it time for an oil change?

I’m doing the same. We got the maintenance plan and they come get it every 7500 miles. Once that and the warranty are up we’ll decide at that point to keep it or bail. That will be at the 8 year point unless we hit the mileage which wouldn’t be too much earlier if we did.

The "Auto Stop-Start" is so annoying!!!!

I always turn the ASS off and I use the small version of that Optima charger. The only reason I checked the voltage is because I had ran a plug for my trailer and I was checking polarity and that’s when I noticed it was 12.2. This was the day after a 500 mile drive.

The "Auto Stop-Start" is so annoying!!!!

We are debating on taking the Navi to Utah and doing the White Rim Road around Canyonlands... after we put some appropriate wheel and tires on it. This 1000 mile round trip I just took to Ohio and back should have topped it off, if that didn’t do it nothing will.

The "Auto Stop-Start" is so annoying!!!!

We bought with the intention of 8-10 years. My wife may get the Navigator in a couple years, we need something geared more to off pavement adventures but can’t give up the Navigator because it’s just so damn good at everything else. I just don’t think the Navigator can get us everywhere a...

You described my situation perfectly. I am using a AGM charger so I’ll just top it off from time to time.

The "Auto Stop-Start" is so annoying!!!!

So there’s just no avoiding hooking up a charger every once in a while, is this what your saying? If that’s the case then there may not be anything wrong with my battery. What should my voltage be at, over 12.2?
