The times this has happened to me it’s been low battery voltage every time. I had one of the early tailgate buttons that would get stuck and it was was causing a draw, once replaced it hasn’t come back.
I’ll probably use the mag charger when I do charge in the car so it stays charging instead of on and off the wireless one. I don’t often pick the phone up but the on/off charger can’t be good for the battery.
Well, hell... this would be my issue. I’ll take the case off and see how it does. Thankfully, I’ve been able to go an entire day and not need any juice so hopefully that will continue for a while and I won’t need to charge in the car.
Idk about the expy but in the Navigator it sits at such an angle that movement is next to impossible, especially given the size of the iPhone 12max that I’m sticking in there.
I’ll mess around with positioning, mine is a little different since it’s a Navigator but I figure the messages are the same so whatever the problem is likely similar.
I know this is a old post but whatever happened with your wireless charger issue? I just started to use mine for the first time an I’m getting the exact same message.
Ouch! Did she stick around and apologize or bolt? I’m guessing she’s clueless to the event all together. Looks like the wheels are unscathed so that’s a plus.
I thought the flip up window was dumb until we took our first trip, now I use it all the time. Often I use it to put things in the rear instead of opening the lift gate. It’s a lot faster and less wear on a expensive moving part. Sure, it’s not huge but it’s big enough for me to find...
I ran a similar setup for a while, Yakima rack, skyline mounts, and HD bars. While very functional it was atrociously loud and far too tall. I recently returned it for a full refund, yay REI. All this to say I feel your pain and hope you find a solution.
Damn 91 pound canoe?!? I was reading that expecting to say your in your 60’s or older but you buried the lead with the insane weight of that craft... 91 pounds is too much for almost anyone. Thank god for royalex, mine comes in at 58 lbs.
I’m gonna steal the bologna sammich phrase and agree with you on your last statement. I just don’t want to turn wrenches on this vehicle, with Lincoln coming to my house to get it for all maintenance why would I. I have zero liability if issues arise from anything repair or maintenance related...
I’m curious about your thoughts after driving both. I love our Navigator but haven’t driven an Expy to be able to compare the two. I’ll second the comment about ceramic coating and the wheels, it also helps immensely with cleaning the grill as well. Chem guys make two particular brushes that...
You can also press the ‘menu’ button that’s part of the fan speed dial. It brings up a menu that has the switch for the heated steering wheel. It may not be as convenient as a physical button but it also is one less button to clutter the console with.
There are two ways to turn it on but there is no physical button, both of ours are on Sync screens. Honestly, it’s a non issue after the first couple times.
Yes. The J bolt thing for the seat was on mine so no repair was needed and I think the same for the fuel thing. Mine missed the dates for the AC issue by a couple weeks. The only worry I have is for the cam phasers but so far so good. Also, we got a big extended warranty so if I have the cam...
The HO motors do have the cam phaser issue, there is a user on here that has had it. My only gripe on my ‘18 Reserve is one of the panels on the 21 way adjustable seats squeaks a little. Everything else on mine has been great.
