    I know the Navigator has flaps for the intercooler in the grill that open and close, you can hear the motors controlling the fins to allow more or less air passing thru the intercooler.

    Do other owners sometimes get a clunk and jolt coming out of park, or reverse to drive? Just a really hard shift. I always set parking brake, that should avoid any slack in gearing. I also noticed a hard down shift last week.

    I disagree with you, my Navigator was over 100k, it sounds like shit when at the bank drivethru. I feel ford buys cheap widgets in china, China sends the widgets to Mexico, Mexico assembles the part, Mexico send the part to the UAW to install. Its all a shit show.

    Shocks and swaybars should not interfere with tierod end. Lucky you were not on the highway. Check with the dealer, get that documented. There might be a problem with the metal.

    Maybe bad steel. Could be a cold spot in the steel. You wonder if this truck should of been part of the 7000 trucks the UAW messed up?

    Yes this is under warranty, The truck is few months old. Safety Hazzard only b/c the front wheels locked up while driving. This is not a grease able part. This is the nut you see when you take off the tire. Here is a stock photo.

    For the mechanical folks, I thought you would like this. My neighbors 2020 f150 with 6k miles The front cv axel snaped off, the cv shaft then pushed into the pumpkin Destroying the front pumpkin. Lets hope this is not a trend headed to the expeditions or navigator

    Any idea what this part is? This is a 2019 Navigator 3.5 The liquid droplets smell like fuel. 16,000 on engine. The cam phasers were replaced.

    My 19 navigator got a new driver turbo around 12k miles b/c of the waste gate rattle, I now have 16k and it is now starting to rattle again. 100k truck and it sounds like a diesel vw jetta. Pisses me.off

    I dont have to worry about any testing. I dont have any oil left to test! This black oil is after 2500 miles and a little over full on the stick when topped off last. 15,000 on truck

    Nuke, Make sure they change the oil b4 you pickup the truck. My dealer did not change the oil after the cam phasers. And they should have.
