My Friend has a 2019 f150 with 13,000 miles.
He stated 5k on the oil, man it is clean and up to the 2nd mark.
Wonder why my oil is black and below the low mark at 2500 miles?
I do not have a catch can.
I did find a tsb on oil consumption.
https://ford.oemdtc.com/4593/3-5l-ecoboost-excessive-oil-consumption-with-or-without-dtc-p0365-p0369-2017-2019-ford-lincoln
Oh crap very low oil.
When I had the turbo replace on may 7th the milage was 12,204.
The dealer forgot to fill up the oil,
I brought the truck back and they topped off, and actually over filled abit.
No at 14797 and the oil is barely on the dip stick? That only 2593 miles.
What is going on here?
I put the key fob outside, 1 foot away from the truck.
No key detected.
When I grab the handel the doors do unlock.
Sounds like the key may have fallen out of the truck and is near the truck.
Check all around the truck
Look up on the roof and inside the hatch all around the rubber
I remember reading poster saying "NO Key Detected"
Surely the fob is not in or near the truck.
I alway leave my fob in the truck and lock the doors, when I have to run into a store. The wife and kids are locked in and truck is running.
I press the last 2 button at the same time on the door...
If the horn beeped when u left,
That was that truck telling u, that you took the key out of the truck with you.
Seems like you lost the key fob somewhere
I dont understand,
if the key was lost in the car, you would not have an issue. it would still start. And run.
I will test. I will put a key in the back hatch area and see if trucks starts.
it did go away after restart.
Before the restart, the light on the button was flashing.
I was not towing, and all sensors were clear of obstructions.
It for sure was nerve racking not know what was happening or why.
Probably a glitch.
I have to bring it in for a new lincoln emblem that is...
The trucks electrical system has not been tapped into any where.
The truck is very clean the cameras are not dirty,
We did not press the parking aid button, we were cusing down the express way at 48 MPH.
I just had the truck out, and verified the park aid does work.
Maybe a one off warning ⚠️
Sounds like you did not read the correct post.
I was asking Edizzel about his brake job at 21k miles.
I said nothing about Kmdcolo brakes.
So why dont you quite down.
On my explorer, I had to remove the whole dash right out of the truck, to get to the recirculating door. The fresh recirculating flaper broke and fell down stoping air flow.
Lets hope this did not carry over to the expedition.
