    I am a mechanically inclined and would of did the job myself. But the truck was under warranty. I can say the stealership did a good job. I looked for loose or missing bolts. I talked to the tech, and they do these all week long. Like second nature to them by now. Take it in and get it fixed.

    No Tsp will not fix that knock is bad. My jaw dropped when I heard that. That is really bad knock. I heard the cam phaser rattle, and go away when oil pressure was built up. I hear the wastegate rattle clearly. Man that knock is horrible. Beware.

    You wonder if that knock is the sway bar. This seems like a horrible design. It is metal on metal. I never seen that before. The swaybar is always sandwiched between bushings.

    I did not notice a service light, I olny had it unplug for less that 60 seconds. It was only the driver side that the dealer replaced. Pretty soon the passenger will need to be replaced. It is starting to rattle.

    Amen, I have drilled out to many exhaust studs, and spark plugs on the 3v. I have replaced 2 engines on the 4.0 sohc b/c of shit timing chane design. Ford had always have the truck, but there engines are the weak point. It is probably designed to fail at a certain point to keep the economy...

    What i did on my mountaineer I got scented bleach water mixed in a pump sprayer. I found the ac drain line under the truck. I put the wand in the drain hose and pumped in the beach.

    Ya I hear you there. if you do get a new turbo, check your fluids before you take it in for repair. Then check oil and antifreeze before you pick it up. My truck was 1.5 quarts low on oil after the turbo change, the dealer never filled the oil back up that leaked out.
