Followed the shop manual, wire by wire and checked all the relays (or so I thought…). The resistor was definitely dead, that was the first thing I tested and I thought replacing that would fix it, but it didn’t. Was hard to track down one of those old...

I have a Canadian 1999 Expedition with the DRL setup.
Autolamps work fine, but the lower 8V low beam DRLs won't come on.
I checked the resistor and it was shot, so I tracked down the part and replaced it with a new one. Still no luck.
Were there any other weak points in the DRL...

I sometimes leave the rear glass open in the garage for quick loading in the morning. Or just hanging out and tailgating. Had to buy a jumppack because it kept draining my battery, didn’t always want to take out the fuse and frick up my fingernails lol.
