Honestly, I had some problems w/ my air ride system up to a month ago, I bought a conversion kit from strutmasters and did away with the whole mess. lets hear the good things about our expy
Got a 97 and it's a nice "truck", more like a 4x4 station wagon, but, it fits our current needs. I hate the air suspension, and find the low vehicle height limiting for a "4x4" so I guess I need to buy an old Blazer or Jeep for jaunts off-road. It is very comfy on road trips and has enough... -

Well, I finally got sick of constantly having problems w/ the air susp. on my 97 Expy, so, I bought the conversion kit from Strutmasters. I was just wondering if anyone has made the conversion that is on this forum and if they are happy with its performance. I haven't had a chance to install it...- bmb527

Not to sound completely stupid, but I am mostly accustomed to GM vehicles, but where is the K-member? I take it that it must be remotely mounted from the engine, as I have been over nearly every inch of it and can't see it there. Is it mounted to the frame somewhere? How far back? Hi, I'm glad I found 'yall. I just bought a 97 expedition, 4x4 5.4L. WHERE IS THE DAMN OIL FILTER??? I am trying to do an oil change and can't find it. I am in a bind and appreciate any help I could get. Thanks, Bill- bmb527
