Well, went a totally different way... The white one looked great in pics, but must have been underwater in the last flood we had up here... paint was bubbling on the lift gate, looked like crap underneath , and in the engine bay... It was from a Mitsubishi dealer ...so......went to the Ford...- Lane24

Yeah. Prices are a little different up here in Canada for vehicles. Seems like almost double a lot of the times. Must be the block heater lol.- Lane24

Yeah.. but the 98 is starting to nickel and dime me to death, and no third row... Plus its about 6 inches too high for me to get in and out of lol.. I broke three vertebrae in my mid back, and the climbing in and out in the winter is getting tough.... But keeping it is not out of the question. I...- Lane24

Time to put the ol' girl up for sale.. Just had another baby, so that makes 3, and need something a little more down to earth for the family. It's been a super fun truck to have.. We are going to look at a 2012 XLT tomorrow. Looks pretty decent.. low miles about 21,000 miles... third row...- Lane24

Thanks all :) Diff was leaking , replaced rear axle seals , new brake rotors, pads, and ebrake shoes replaced.... phew....... i have been driving my Jeeps so much lately, I really should have paid more attention to my Expedition.... poor ol' girl.... all fixed up now though :)- Lane24

What am I looking at ? I haven't really been driving my big guy too much lately, and when I did go for a ride, and then backed it up on my driveway today I noticed this horrible sight.... It's the rear passenger side...Is it a brake line fail, or an axle seal or something? I'm OK with most of...- Lane24

Fitting 35's on a 97 Expy and other suspension ?'s
Here's mine with the exact set up Canadian Expy wrote of. Just have to get some gap guards after to hide some of the frame and gap that comes through after the body lift. You can order them from Performance Accessories when you order your body lift, or if you are handy, can probably make your...- Lane24

Wheel and tire size question?
I have the American Racing Baja's 16 x 8 on mine with the 4.5 backspacing and 0 offset. I am running 315/75/16 and have a 5 inch lift. I don't think it narrowed my stance at all, and I don't have any wheel spacers... I kind of wished now that I went the 10 inch width instead to get a little...- Lane24

what would you pay?
Up here in Canada prices tend to be a lot higher than down south... Stock, fugly 1st gen Expy's are going for 3-4000 . I'm asking $5900 for mine right now, with 20,000 more kms and half the lift and other goodies you have.... But here in Alberta everybody drives big lifted trucks... I've just...- Lane24

Nope doesn't come off... if you go back a page or so.. There is a pic of my Expedition, and Jeep that take regular mud baths and pressure washes, and still on there 5 years later.- Lane24

Just the spray cans... 4 coats... I peeled the rims of recently just cuz I wanted to go back to chrome for a while... that's the beauty of the stuff.. But I think I'll respray them before the snow comes again...- Lane24

I've plastidipped my Expedition trim and wheels, my Jeeps grill, wheels and rockers, and my sons Jeep's hood and wheels... and a bunch of stuff on the old FX4.... Stuff holds up fantastic... power washes.. mud baths.. Canadian weather....The only thing I have bad to say about it is.... don't...- Lane24
