I know what you did!
you just kept replying to a thread with 2 words to get your post count up didnt you? lol
Nice to see you here man... now to harrass Just4fun i mean find ;)
It just depends whats going bad, it could be anything like the suspension computer thats in the dash, the compressor relay (usually found under right side headlight) right height sensor... list keeps going.
Yea i wasnt there when his overhead fell but i got to see it hanging by the wires. Only reason it fell is cause it was heavy and had no extra support. Could have also been he mounted a 20 inch too lol
Well i never had this problem of the wiper not fully going back to the rest positon but my motor went out completly. I bought a new motor for like 50$ off ebay, took the tailgate panel off and installed new motor. Everything worked right away as it should and its still working fine, never had to...
There are quite a few of us who have had the truck since new and now over 150k miles and have had 0 issues. Most expensive thing i had to repair was the air suspension compressor ($120) other then that everything else was cheap. Its always best to maintain any vehicle so that you get the most...
Same for me, but im with ya i dont like letting it get that low myself either. When it does get that low its usually cause i havent come across a gas station to fill up.
If the overhead is kinda heavy you may want to put a piece of wood running across the roof for added support. Dont wanna be driving down the road and have the thing hanging by the wires like my buddy did lol.
Anytime you do a repair where the CEL is on it needs to be reset. You can disconnect the NEG cable from the battery for a few mins or pull the PCM fuse and the light will reset. IF it comes back on then theres still an issue.

Be aware though that the "cuts" this guy made is to save you tons of cash at the local repair shop if they use this method. HOwever if you want it done the "right way" (no cuts to anything) then the entire dash HAS to come out...
Its possible its the MFS but another thing that comes to mind is the turn signal switch which is usually located behind the steering wheel (have to take steering wheel off) but thats worse case scenario. Have you checked the relay?
The capacitor is usually located close to the coil pack and possibly mounted to the coil pack support with a small screw. If you think it's bad you should be able to get one from a local parts store. They're only a couple of bucks or so. Couldnt find any pics either.
