are 2003 expeditions reliable?
I just purchased a 2003 XLT on 7/31/2010. I must say that my truck has no flaws at all. The only flaw that was fixed before my purchase was the rack & pinion box and a power steering box, both installed new by the dealer. I will however, change the tranny fluid, transfer-case & differential...- Puchichi

Plastic cladding treatment
I use Black Magic silicone. And, it satisfies my need at a cheaper price. The only thing was i did put some shine on the runningboards & my father-in-law nearly bust his rump by loosing his footing exiting the rear passenger side of the truck.- Puchichi

Doors lock and unlock by themselves
Have you lubricated all of the door latches. I had the same problem & the door ajar light always stayed on. Until i WD 40'd all of the latches now no more popping doorlocks & no door ajar light.- Puchichi

CD Changer "No Mag" Issue
Depends what you mean by going bad. Have you used a laserlens cleaner on your changer. It looks like a CD with soft bristle brushes around the disc. Maybe that is why you get the can't read CD message.- Puchichi
