I really wish they built the thunder. The lightning is one of my favorite vehicles of all time, so if they put that into an expedition it would be awesome.
Mine doesn't have a charger because I take it out to use it all the time anyways. So unless its gonna be dedicated strictly for the truck then I wouldn't worry about a charger. Looks great though so far
Take a look at my albums, I did an iPad 2 in my truck last year and relocated my double din to the same location that you are. My ac controls are tucked back behind the iPad since I don't use them often and popping the iPad panel out to access them takes all of 3 seconds
Hey guys so I'm getting my truck back out for the summer, been neglecting her since I bought a challenger. So my brakes are extremely bad from driving on 26's, front pads are almost totally gone if not already gone. Does anyone have any experience or tips about replacing them? Doesn't look to be...
I have 10 hide-a-ways in mine. 2 in fogs, 2 in corners, 2 in reverse lights, 2 in 3rd brake light, 2 in 3rd row cup holders (I ran out of places to put them lol)
The headlights should mount with those three threaded studs, on those studs you'll have the plastic nut type thing that the clips grab on to. To adjust up and down you just twist those accordingly to angle the light
Mine are in pretty good shape so i just tire shine them and leave them alone, they'll stay very glossy with that stuff. Plus its funny watching unsuspecting passengers step on them and nearly slip and fall off the truck
That's why I'm kinda 50/50 on if I should take them off. I always tire shine them and they have blue LEDs for the courtesy lights so I think they look nice being on there. But at the same time it would be a clean look without them
Thanks man, and I plan on sending him pics once I finish the rims and get them on the truck. I find it really funny how their wheel kit is 4 spray cans....to do my wheels I needed 13 cans. And yup no booth, just a 70 degree day with no wind, the sprayer was a cheap Earlax gun that came with the...
Considering it for this year, nobody uses them anyways ever since I lowered it. I'm just more concerned about having the frame rails or some other rusty ugly object being visible
So I spoke to a guy I know who had a shop dip his f350 in the winter. He said he had them dip the running boards as a test and he planned on keeping track of how many times he stepped on them until he wore through it. The final amount of times stepped on until failure was 132....so yes it's...
The running boards? i didnt try to paint those and i had started peeling them in these pics so don't base the decision off of me. Any white you see on them is basically overspray, not a real buildup of paint. But literally all you do to clean this stuff is pressure wash it and everything comes...
I've done a few sets for people and have had great results, i'll list off my steps:
1) wetsand light with 2000 grit so dull it slightly
2) clean with dish soap to degrease them
3) apply multiple light coats until you reach the desired darkness
4) apply multiple coats of clear (majority of which...
Hey guys, haven't been too active on here lately since I got a '12 challenger and have had the expo sitting for a while. But the time came over the weekend to finally execute the plan I had since the fall....to plastidip the entire truck. You may have heard of dipyourcar.com or seen their...
