    Shutter shifting into overdrive

    I had this on my 02 and it only had 35k miles on it when I bought it. I took it to the dealer and had the tranny serviced, fresh fluid and additive added. It was $235, but that also included engine oil and filter so I am not sure of the cost of the tranny only. Mine is smooth as silk now.

    Yeah, I am not going that deep, that looks like a nightmare! My stereo functions just fine, I just have no lows making me assume my sub isn't working. I am going to tear into her this weekend and see what I find. Thanks for all the input I will keep everyone posted. Tim

    I may have solved my own problem. Evidently the sub might be blown causing no sound to come out? Evidently they blow really easily, I just always thought that if a speaker was blown it made a crackly sound, not no sound at all. I am going to tear into the rear end this weekend and see.

    You could remove it with the hair dryer, then the residue remover as everyone else said. Best results to replace would be to go to a body shop or ask your local dealer who they use for striping.
