So my 2002 4.6l xlt has a missfire on the second cylinder. I have replaced the coils and spark plugs on the whole engine and it still pops up on code reader.
The fuel injector is clicking and I've run seafoam through it. Could it be the connector or the wires and how can I find out?
ordered thread repair kit has eight additional threads.
to clarify the ghetto rig he put a new thread over the spark plug with no locktight and it chewed up the old threads that were left. dosnt even look live he drilled it out just shoved it in there and hoped for the best lol.
Okay so pulled most plugs and coils except number 8. The 2nd plug was ghetto rigged in with a threaded sleeve and plug 4 is having trouble being thredded into it. I don't know what to do about the 2nd plug
Hey guys new to the forum glad to be here. So just bought my 02 ford expedition 4.6 xlt and it has a couple problems.
First off there's three misfires coming from coils 2, 3, and 5. Here's the issue, I don't know if its due to the coils or plugs misfiring but its generating a knocking sound...
