Changing Gear Ratio
Does anyone on here have first hand experience changing the stock 373 gears to, lets say 410 or 456 gears? I am aware that it will drink fuel more, but by roughly how much more? Any thoughts and ideas are welcome. Thanks- jgemienhardt

Largest tires without lift?
oops, that middle pic was before the spacers. if you look close, without spacers, puts the tire inside the step rails, with spacers it puts the tires flush with the steps. Also, the tires are MT not AT- jgemienhardt

I've got 285/75R16 on mine, and like others have said, I too had to trim the front bumper just a bit. You dont even notice it. I did not need any wheel spacers, but I put some on for the added stability on sand dunes. I take Ol' Blue Thunder in the air almost every weekend and have had no...- jgemienhardt

Lights on the roof rack

Wiggly COP?
I replaced all 8 on mine a few months ago. I had the same problem, and the same headache with the one under the fuel pressure regulator. I just put a washer on it to take the wiggle away. Then a week after I did mine I replaced them in my buddies F150, also the same wiggly coil. Mine is a 98 5.4...- jgemienhardt

Ignition coils...
just an FYI, summit also has summit brand performance coils all 8 for 179. I feel your pain with the autozone price. I went there and asked for all 8 and they said that'll be 436. WHAT!!! I just turned around and walked out. lol Ordered the summit coils with next day delivery. I have had them on...- jgemienhardt

thanks everyone for the info. Not really worth the time and effort for a 5hp gain. Although, on an F150 forum I read that if the PI head is put on the NON PI block it would bump the compression from 9.0:1 to 10.5:1. there were no actual numbers on the hp gain it would give, but while I am still...- jgemienhardt

1998 pcm?
I was looking up some specs today, and noticed that the 1998 Expedition is listed at 230hp and the 1999 is listed at 260hp. I have looked over both models, and I am not seeing anything different.
