    OK. Took the car into Robs Tire and Auto in Carthage. Took him about an hour and a half and that included doing the state inspection so I can get tags that are due here soon. He charged me $180 in labor plus the plugs, cops tested fine he said wait on those. Car runs like new.

    I called Crossroads Ford in Southern Pines to make an appointment to get it done, they can't do it until Sept 14th. Cost for motorcraft parts and labor (plugs/cops) will be $603 out the door ... UNLESS ... GET THIS ... UNLESS ... they break a plug off, then they will charge me an extra half hour...

    No, no proof, just what the dealer told me when I asked. And I did not pursue it further. I took it out today and it started doing the same thing. Plugs/cops are in the very near future.

    Spoke with the service manager at Crossroads Ford this morning. He says since I brought it back it has not displayed the wrench icon again and nothing was stored in the computer since I brought it back. He tells me they are working with Ford to fix this thing. Now I am really worried.
