Auxilary A/C Feed & Return Line

Update... I just checked and that line is burried between the body and frame in the back. You can't even see the section that's broken. I'm planning on replacing the current line setup, front to back, with regular heating hose, insulated, and conveniently routed. It will be a major undertaking...

Auxilary A/C Feed & Return Line

Sorry you have this problem. I have 98 Exby with the same problem. So I hope someone has info on this. I think if the hatch is opened, there's a black strip of plastic trim that's between the rear bumper and the bottom of the body that runs along the full length of the rear. If I'm not...

2K Expedition Mystery Leak & Jingling Noise. Need To ID

Good morning everyone. Lexi, please disregard all the negative comments. I still recommend ruling out a tranny fluid leak. Check for a hole in the muffler where the leak is. The fluid could be from condensation flowing through it. If there's still traces of the leak, if possible, I would get the...

2K Expedition Mystery Leak & Jingling Noise. Need To ID

Welcome to the forum Lexi. I did a search on the color and smell you gave of the fluid, and so far, things are leaning towards the transmission fluid. Please forgive me, you said you had your expi. serviced, did that include the tranny? Have you checked the fluid levels?

    Heating System Problem

Just to update everybody. I spent two days reconnecting the heater hoses for the main and auxiliary heat, just to find out the hard way that both cores are bad. So now since the rear one is more accessible, I'm going to focus on replacing that one first. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Heating System Problem

Thanks. I will check out the yard. I can see the bypass hose, I felt it, and there's coolaant going through it. That was a shabby job as well because the hose is a little crimped. I read there is a way to redue this system with regular heater hoses, couplers, and clamps. That's the way I...

    Heating System Problem

Thanks for your response. I'm here in Easton, Pa, Larry Holmes Country. Yes, the two sets I saw would be the four you mentioned. I'm just not familiar with this engine enough to know what's supposed to be there to know what's missing. That's why I was hoping to get a diagram or picture. It...

    Heating System Problem

Happy New Year to everyone. I am a new Expi owner with a major problem that I hope I can get help on. I was given a 98 Eddie Bower Expi, with the aux heat. The pervious owners told me that it had no heat, and that they would help with fixing it. The first thing I did when I got it was...
