    2000 Expedition won't pass California smog test

    My 2000 Expedition V8 repeatedly isn't passing the smog test in California due to Catalytic Converter and Evap "not ready". Any suggestions to help get it to pass? I already put in two different bottles of cat cleaner. Thanks for any suggestions!

    I have a feeling this is a fairly common issue after mentioning it to my mechanic: when using the remote control, the power door locks (especially rear) don't unlock i.e. the upright buttons don't go up to unlock the doors.
