My '99 EB 5.4L doesn't have DRLs, and I haven't seen any that do have them. You may just have to turn your parking lights on to serve as DRLs and call it good.
My oil pressure gauge acted strange a little while ago. Where it used to come up right after start, it would take a bit to register. Shortly thereafter it started oscillating while cruising at highway speed. Mechanic noticed it, too. Checked the oil pressure; it was good when checked.

Rear wiper likely needs a new motor; easy to fix. I suggest you change the fuel filter (if you've not done it already). Don't forget the A/C blend door actuator (that's a PITA; dash has to come out).
I had the same issue with my rear window washer. The shop fixed it when I had the rear wiper motor replaced; their note: "washer hose was off, fixed it."
You have to monkey around with the little levers on the seat. Swearing a lot helps, too. You'll get it to fold flat(-ish) after a bit. And then you'll forget how you did it. (Happens to me every year.)
Hey, y'all -
'99 EB 5.4 AWD/4WD. Replaced ABS module about 9 months ago. ABS module is bad again. Can't locate any NOS parts; not wild about installing another salvage part.
Anybody know if an ABS Bypass kit is available- and if so, where I might buy one?
(I really don't need ABS, having...
I ditched the air suspension on my '99 EB. I have Rancho shocks up front and some HD load-levelers from NAPA on the rear. Nice, solid ride; sticks to the road very well.
8-9 MPG seems a little low. What kind of driving do you do? When did you last change all the filters? Tires/tire pressure good? All those little details can add up. I do mostly highway driving (55-70MPH) and get 16 MPG. Just my 2-cents. Good Luck!
I agree with Gary. That selector switch was making me mental (er) until I read the damn manual and put it in neutral to change modes. Works like a champ.
I converted my '99 EB 5.4 to standard shocks in 2016. Used an "Air Ditcher" kit. Towed a U-Haul full of tools, accessories, and an '85 Virago 700 from Oregon to Wisconsin. Never missed a beat. Rides just fine. Don't forget to pull the air suspension relay, if applicable.
Nice! I've got 280K on my '99 EB 5.4L. LOF service every 3K miles. Rotate tires every 6K. Air filter every 12K. And I don't let little stuff grow into big problems.
