    Bad transmission or transfer case or sensor?

    Hello, my 2003 expedition Eddie Bauer 4x4 with 5.4 seems to be stuck in low range, but shifts from 2wd to 4hi and 4lo and a4wd just fine. Anyone else have this problem? I don't want to spend big bucks on a major repair if it's just a sensor or something. Any help will be appreciated.

    2003 Expedition EB electrical problems

    Check the wires in the driver's side sill plate and kick panel area. It's more than likely going to be a purple wire that it corroded and broke. I had this same problem with mine.
