Hi Snag, Thanks for checking in. To be honest, I am not closer to any decision. My mechanic said the oil pressure at idle should be at 25. Mine is 10.- DaveMalEmDrew

2011 Epedition EL needs new engine?
I just returned from my mechanic. My 2011 Ford Expedition EL with 5.4 needs a new engine due to normal wear and tear. It has 99,100 miles on it. Cost $8,000+. They said it is due to the Variable Valve Timing and something about not being able to maintain oil pressure when it is idling...- DaveMalEmDrew
