AC outlet on the rear of the console
Curious, As others have mentioned, the 110 AC outlet was a power point, probably not provided by the Ford factory for the Expedition before 2011. APIM location 2011 Ford Expedition
Milkman, the Accessory Protocol Interface Module is located beneath the front floor console. It is retained by 4 screws, secured into the console housing.- JTexp11

Thank for your help. As you say, the chime tones may have at some point been integrated from a dedicated device to the Instrument Cluster, and maybe even later to the vehicle's audio system. I truly do not want to mislead this thread into a discussion about Ford's F150 vehicles. However...- JTexp11
