Aftermarket Fuel Pump? Any luck?
I replaced the fuel pump on my 04 4.6 back in July along with the fuel filter due to p0171/174 along with confirmed low fuel pressure. Car ran great and I drove it to Destin and back to Houston no problems. I used an aftermarket fuel pump through Amazon which may or may not have been a mistake...- MattP1976

p0315 Crankshaft Position Sensor Variation Not Learned
2004 4.6 Expedition with a P0315 code. Runs fine. I replaced the crank sensor and reset the codes. I inspected the wiring from the sensor with no issues found. I replaced the engine last year with a used motor. I replaced all the timing components at that time (chains, guides, tensioners)...- MattP1976

2004 Expedition Timing Chain Tensioner Questions
I have an 04 Expedition with a 4.6 swapped from an 04 Police Interceptor. I replaced the chains, guides, and tensioners when we did the swap. I used aftermarket tensioners. I did NOT replace the oil pump. The problem now is that after the vehicle warms up, I'm hearing what sounds like time...- MattP1976

4.6 Police Interceptor 2004
My 2004 4.6 XLT has about 230k miles on it. It's making some death rattle noises. I've already replaced the timing set due to the guides completely coming apart. My question is can I use a 4.6 out of a 2004 police interceptor Crown Vic? Both vehicles have a W for the 8th digit in the VIN. I...- MattP1976

Where do I find a NEW fuel tank?!
My fuel tank is leaking at the front fitting where the evap hose connects to the tank. Went to the wrecking yard and found another tank and of course, it's leaking in the same place. Ford does not make that tank anymore. I'd like to replace it with a new piece. Has anyone had any luck...- MattP1976
