    Question: If I install the Bilstein 5100s to lift myself 1.5 inches, can I run 35 x 12 x 17 tires? if not, now big ? I'm trying to order they wheels and tires and the tire guy's don't know or won't say. 2014 EL.

    Question about tire size... I'm planning on putting the Bilstein 5100s on my 2014 EL. My tire guy is recommending a 18x33x11.5 tire on 18 x 9 inch rims. I prefer 17 inch rims. Will the 14 Expy take 17s? He thinks there may be a problem with "clearing the brakes" with the 17s.

    What I plan to use it for is overlanding. Not crazy off roading. I'll pull a small trailer too. I have a Jeep for rock climbing etc. I am going to do it all at once, I'm just trying to get the strategy in place.

    Why would you choose the 3/2 over the 2/2? What does it mean? Are you saying that the 5100s provide he lift but are not good if you want to tow? Do you guys have to re-gear for these larger tires (and reset your speedo) like in the Jeep world?
