I have a 2017 EL with just over 100k miles and I have the same issue with the rocker panel rotted complete out on the driver side and worse near the passenger door.
I looked in the rear wheel well and there is a giant gap in the seam.
I too suspect this is the root cause for the rocker...
Noticed the paint peeling on my 2017 Expedition EL Platinum driver side doors. Other doors are fine and I did remove the plugs about two years ago to drain all the water out of the doors.
Anyone have any luck getting this repaired under a warrant or TSB?

Ordered and installed these for my 2017 EL platinum. The Ford lug nuts are garbage and got tired of prying them out of the socket since they are all swollen and deformed.

If so does the 3 ton / 6000 lbs jack fit under your expedition. The min clearance of 11” looks tight if lifting from the jack points.

General Grabbers HTS60 and they are awesome in dry and wet conditions. Much better than the stock Pirelli in wet conditions. I use Firestone WinterForce uv2 for winter/snow tires and the Expedition EL is a tank in the snow.
Same issue with my 17 EL platinum. I’ll start to pay closer attention to see if other makes trigger the front sensors or only ford. Thought it was only my car with that issue.
I have the same issue on a 2017 Platinum Max. A battery change usually fixes it for a few months. I’ve also noticed that the remote car start button sticks sometimes. When I remote car start sometimes it shuts off right away. Taking apart the fob and reassembling will fix this issue. Maybe it’s...
