I was talking about people comparing a 3 or 5 series BMW or C/E series Merc which are all MUCH less.
IMO Interior on the X7 and GLS580 are superior to my $101k navigator in almost every way.

To be fair most of the BMWs and Mercs people talk about here cost around the same or less than a expy platinum and certainly less than a Navi black label.
Bench seats are obviously more utilitarian but the captains chairs in the navigator make sitting in the back like flying in a private jet. So much nicer. We travel all the time with the kids and the dog. Dog goes all the way in the back. Third row down. Letting her sit on the seats would give me...

If they say it’s in perfect condition then have them give you a top dollar trade-in number for it. Then trade it in for a new expedition and be done with it. You like the expedition better anyway so there’s no reason to have this headache on your hands. Just my opinion. Good luck.

something is terribly wrong with your Navi. My 20 rides like a marshmallow in conserve mode. Swallows everything. Even in excite mode it’s not the least bit jittery.
Zero “screech” in the ultimates and the thing is quieter than my tahoes, yukon, rover, Infiniti and Audi ever were. The rear...

I agree with this but figure they likely do it due to liability and people being idiots.
What IS interesting is that if you have it in 4wd it will STAY in 4wd even after restarting. So it’s possible but they decided not to do it. I’m guessing because if someone has it in eco mode and forgets...
Agreed. I’d much rather have the ability to remotely move the car forward or backwards a few feet. Would be good getting into tight garages, backing up to a trailer and that sort of thing. Still completely unnecessary though

I use hands free carplay voice control all the time (“hey Siri (to wake) play this album/song” “call this restaurant” “navigate to this place” “send a text to this person” etc) but sync? Useless.

I never use the “park-o-matic” or whatever the self park feature is called. Also never put heated seats on “auto”.
I wish I could trade those two “features” for the ability to scroll through all my preset stations and sync front/rear climate!!

Yeah it seems theyd fare better if you could stiffen them by locking them or inserting metal rods etc. the videos show them just flopping around

Curious to hear what people say but also curious if people have had any good luck with more compact stow-able folding boards?
Like these? https://gotreads.com/

Yeah that thing is going to need to look a lot better in person than in the pictures and have a pretty badass warranty. $100k+ for a Chrysler is big ask.
Yep. Agreed. In the winter it’s just impossible to keep it clean enough to do a WW most of the time. the garbage they put on the roads sticks like paint (god forbid the roads stay snow covered for more than an hour after a storm lol). I cheat A LOT in the winter. Many times I’ll bring it to a...
When the weather is ok I try to do a full wash once every couple weeks and then WW’s in between.
WW‘a are great and a total lifesaver to use between real washes but you won’t likely get off all of the contaminants that build up not to mention tires.

Suv sales were actually up materially in 2020...especially in Q4
Don’t think it matters though. Outside
Of some supply chain interruptions I can’t imagine assembly quality suffered.
