That was a mistake. I have a Continental and I really don't care for the push button shifter. You can't shift by feel, you always have to look at it when changing gears.
The Platinum engine is no different than the "base" engine, just tuned a little hotter out of the box. If you're going to tune the piss out of it don't waste your money on the Platinum thinking you'll get more ponies out of it.
I had a 2013 F-150 with the first gen EB. When its timing chain stretched it sounded just like that Raptor in the video. Just like it. I took the truck to dealership with a couple of videos doing it and they knew exactly what it was and scheduled it in the following week.
Truck had ~54k...
I'm not crazy about how the Ford style lights ramp up to high beam, but I've driven quite a few vehicles with these systems and I'd say Ford has the best of them. They seem to employ a better logic and are less sensitive - they don't repeatedly flash people. Of what I've driven I'd rate them...
Makes a huge difference. Whether there's value in that depends on how much snow you get and how long winter lasts where you live.
I'll tell you this ... I'd rather drive my Continental with snows on it in hardpack, slush and snotty wet snow. The only time I'd pick a truck or SUV with...
No. Like mquick05 says, GM allows that configuration, but Ford does not.
Best solution is to keep the key on your person at all times. Disable the double honk via Forscan because it'll drive you nuts.
He got a great deal. I'm going to guess nearly $2k under invoice on a shorty with every box checked. He's itemized all other incentives. Where did you find another $4k on a truck that's not worth as much?
You've got some balls calling anybody in this thread sour, when it is you, sir, who has had the bad attitude here.
You asked why I (and GC) didn't opt for max tow. It was explained. Then you go on to deride that decision. Over and over. Of course, GC screwed up even more royally because he...
I'll play.
The 3.5 HO that's in the Lincoln makes peak torque @ 3500 RPM. The Expedition's non-HO 3.5 gets peak torque @ 2500 RPM. The HO is a higher strung motor - hence the lower gears.
If you're hauling shingles to the dump and pulling a big RV around and drag racing all the time, by all...
That's almost certainly a Tahoe in the spy shot. I'm real curious to see what the General has up his sleeve, but I wasn't real impressed with the interior of the new GM trucks.
On Tire Rack you can buy snow tire and rim packages. They have a great configurator specifically for winter tire and rim combos. I bought a set of cheap (but decent looking) 18" rims for my Continental with Blizzaks mounted and balanced on them already and with the correct lug nuts. They'll...
Didn't want to pay the extra $1800 and take the MPG hit. Only tow very sporadically with it and no more than about 2K pounds. Company owns a GMC 3500 for the occasional big towing that I have to do.
We wanted to get EXACTLY what we wanted is why we ordered. In our case, the Lexus lease is up...
Congrats. My wife and I ordered one last Thursday very similar to yours. White, shorty Platinum. We got the light interior, and basically no options. On a Platinum that means skipping the heavy trailer tow, rear TVs and we wanted the bench in the rear instead. Replacing an LX 570.
