That tracks. I get about 20 with my 2020 Expedition Ltd., and I get about 14-15 with my 2026 Max Premium stealth, larger engine, 4.4, tow package, etc.
I am dealing with the same issues with my 26 Platinum Max....just took delivery on St. Patrick's Day....too busy to figure out the tech, but picking it up here and there.
Have my 2026 Max Platinum on order with the Stealth Performance Package. March build date. Still keeping the current 2020 Expy....just replacing my 2018 F-150 Platinum that was totaled. Looking forward to it!
New Expy....Well, my 2018 F-150 Platinum was totaled, and we decided to get another Expedition. So, we are going to go with the 2026 Platinum Max. Now, to find the right price and order that bad boy.
Sad to see that truck go....but the wife's Expy has been a good hauler for our family and at 5...
Long Road Trip...kicking down to pass (aggressively), transmission freaks out, loss of power, shuddering, and the dreaded big wrench. Halfway through a 2-day drive. Stop passing...just using Adaptive Cruise Control...no more issues. 55K...so nervous about CDF...but no further issues. Decided...
Nobody, who is trans, is going to have a problem with referring to a transmission as a "tranny". They will have a problem with using the term to describe someone who is trans. There is a world of difference, and they are aware of it. The original comment about some being "sensitive" to the...
Using the adaptive cruise control will wear the rear brakes faster. I have a 2018 F-150 and a 2020 Expedition, and I had to replace the brakes on the truck faster than the Expy since I use adaptive cruise control on the truck a lot while my wife (who drives the Expy) does not. It uses the rear...
One day I was driving and went to use my turn signal and it did not work. Then I noticed the other did not either. Then I noticed that none of the lights were working. It was the BCM (body control module).
I bought a 2018 Platinum F-150...then my wife had her minivan t-boned, and I talked her into a 2020 Limited Expedition with the 302A/tow package for the same reasons you are stating. I got almost everything we wanted except for the massaging seats and saved a bit. Between the 2, which are very...
I had all my lights stop working (indicators, headlights, everything). Turned out to be the entire module had to be replaced (the block that holds all the fuses has boards in it that interface into the main computer so that the computer can control groups of fused systems).
I have a 2020 Expedition, but I know that even back then the Explorers had the tech to read speed limit signs...so without checking the specs on the new Expeditions, it would not be surprising if they had the tech as well.
Update.....got the Expy back...BCM was replaced and everything is now fine (except for the loss of $1700 and not having the vehicle for more than a week).
I just had all my exterior lights stop working. The are saying BCM. I too had the "ghost" issue from the rear left...but it has not done it in a while. I have also had the GPS go nuts....and the various running board.....door handle sensors.....etc. types of issues on my 2020. I have a 2018...
2020 Expedition. Suddenly, all the exterior lights (except for one daytime running light) have stopped working. Fast turn signals on the dash (both sides) but nothing exterior. No headlights, no parking lights, no fog lights, no high beams, no tail lights, no brake lights. Also, the garage...
To the Expy/F-150 comments...I lucked out. When the need came I sold my Mustang GT and picked up a 2018 Platinum F-150...then my wife had her minivan totaled and I talked her into a 2020 Expy Limited Special Edition. Best of both worlds!
I have a 2018 F-150 Platinum as well as a 2020 Expedition Limited Special Edition....and my F-150 just started doing the flickering (not the retracting running boards issue).
