    Forgot all about this thread! Here is my latest change. I let it go until the OLM said to change the oil. I changed in 5K intervals until this change - so 5, 10, 15, and 20….then this nearly 30.

    Catch can

    Installed J&L catch can before running out the door on vacation. I routed the line into the PCV as they show. The intake I ran under the wiring harness for the cam phasers, etc instead of on top. Seemed less likely to rub and cause a problem long-term.

    Submitted my inquiry to infotainment. There’s also a place in Northern lower peninsula here in MI that specializes in Ford Sync upgrades that I’m chatting with. Whoever gets it done first I’m all-in!

    I’ll do that first thing in the AM. Absolutely will buy a new APIM if I can get to Sync 4. My 2019 Ram 1500 with UConnect 4 and wife’s 21 Grand Cherokee L Summit with UConnect 5 both make Sync 3.4 look like a pile of garbage.

    Anyone keeping eyes peeled for a Sync 4 update? I would imagine should this even be possible it would require some new hardware. I think infotainment.com has a F150 kit to go from Sync 3 to 4 but I haven’t reached out about Expy. I’d pony up for new version if I had to buy some new hardware...

    What’s the P/N for the J&L can nowadays? Used to be JLT was it not? Directs to SBFilters, and they don’t list a can setup for the Ecoboost that I’ve noticed. Amazon does but when looking up on their site it points to the 5.0 with supercharger.

    Offroam makes different sizes. The one I chose was 17mm because I guess that is a common size used by Garmin for their mounts, so kind of a “standard”.

    I didn’t like some others for that reason but this doesn’t seem bad at all. It does make getting to the vent adjuster a little less easy, but I also have big hands. Overall I’d absolutely recommend this and don’t feel it impacts the vent enough to make a difference.

    Regular vs. Max

    Buy the Max. 1,000% buy the Max. We have 2 kids, 2 large dogs, plus haul my parents with us often, I wouldn’t want anything else but the Max. If they made a bigger version I would have bought that instead.

    +1 for 5 Star. Been running just a 87 daily tune and it’s been great. I mostly wanted it to change how it shifted. Mission accomplished plus some extra scoot is just icing on the cake.
