    Sounds like you need a 170 tstat upgrade. I never see over 190 coolant temps on my 2016 EL HD tow. It definitely keeps the engine cooler. I run a 5 star 93 perf (daily) and have a 93 perf tow also

    The thud he hears makes it sound more like from the gear changing, dont think it’s hub actuators. Hub actuators are a humming noise, I’m thinking gear issue, just my opinion before y’all start hackling me about it since I’ve had and experienced failed IWEs twice now on my 16

    Chemical guys dirt trap two bucket method with honeydew snow foam wash and a super soft wash mit. Always do the tires and wheels first. Follow up drying it with chemical guys speed wipe (do it in the shade or it will dry too quickly and smear) and that gives it a super slick anti static surface
