Update all versions of Ford Sync 3 to the latest Sync 3.4
This worked for me as well! Updated our 2016 to 3.3 from the Ford owners site and that caused all kinds of issues. Did the Cyanlabs update and now everything works great. Thanks for the info!!!- Rusty Jones

When do you use the door code?
Use it all the time. When taking the boat to the lake I always lock the keys inside the truck and use the keypad so as not to risk loosing the keys on the lake. Also when going to the gym I lock the keys in the vehicle so I don't have them in my pocket or in a locker during a workout.- Rusty Jones
