    Odd brake light failure 2017 - Help!

    I've got a 2015 Expy that just started this. All incandescent though. Forscan reports BOO1 and BOO2 and Brake Pedal all working correctly and in unison, hazards work, blinkers work. I replaced the multifunction switch as well with a brand new one and still only 3rd Brake light functioning.

    Brake lights malfunction

    You ever track anything down on this? My 2015 only illuminates the 3rd brake light but the fuses are good, bulbs are good, hazards and blinkers work fine. I even tried putting in a new wiper/turn signal switch. No change.

    Because the Amazon ones are knock-offs that will last about 150-200 miles, ask me how I know. They end up costing $320 after you waste the $60 on the Amazon ones then have to go buy the expensive ones anyway [emoji1787]. RockAuto had better pricing than Amazon that's where I ended up getting...

    How much can I really tow safely

    We pulled a 10k# 35' travel trailer with our '09 (yeah over gross I know, save the lectures). You could tell it was back there but as long as it wasn't super hilly or crazy winds it would go 75 easily (I didn't, but it would). You have to have the WDH though, not an option. We used a husky...

    Also, since I've already dragged up a two year old thread, the upside down plugs are standard for commercial installations in some places. In residential an upside down plug usually indicates that it is on a switched circuit. Sent from my IN2015 using Tapatalk

    The 101v readout is because of the MSW waveform the cheap inverters use. Anything with an AC-DC converter will see it as effectively a 120VAC RMS equivalent power supply. It will not play nice with anything that has an AC motor or a timing circuit that relies on the 60hz waveform for timing...

    2015 Expedition towing max

    I pull a 33' trailer with my 09 Expy EL. Weighed it once and the trailer is about 9000 (max of 10k). Pulls fine with a husky centerline CL and a Tekonsha controller. I did add a transmission cooler since we didn't originally have the tow package. I can only imagine the 3.5 would do a way better...
