I didn’t ever do PPF but you could absolutely use it in the front bumper and hood. Front of the hood will get some dings. I don’t see a reason to PPF the whole car though as after 3 years of my 2019 I have zero dings from rocks outside of the front. Ceramic really won’t protect at all. They...
I had to cam phasers fixed about a year and a half ago. When I picked up the car after the repair was “fixed” I told the service technician to come outside with me and we will start the car together to see if it actually fixed it as I was very much under the impression it was the turbos rattling...
I know the new 2022 expedition will offer black emblems and the F150 has them, does anyone know of a part number to order for a 2019 expedition with 360 cameras?
Would this work?

I felt the exact same way! I replaced mine with 6/32” left so I’m sure I could have kept pushing them another year but when the tires were not good in snow the prior year I knew it was only going to be worse this year!
All shined up these look pretty nice for all seasons. Very happy.
I just pulled the trigger on the Pirelli Scorpion AS 3's. They filled the PSI a little higher than I normally drive but MAYBE detected a little more smooth of a ride but it very well could be just for the fact that I wanted them to feel that way!
Regardless, I know they'll be better overall in...
What worries me about the Continentals is many reviews from Tire Rack regarding terrible tram-lining and that there is excessive vibration when up to speed that balancing could not fix.
I have a minor vibration with my OEM Hankooks so I definitely don’t want that!
My expedition is RWD only...
Good to hear the tires are working well. I’ll probably give it a shot as I know the Scorpion 2’s are very well rated and I’d love it if they’re even slightly better in terms of ride and wet / snow grip. It sounds like I likely would t be disappointed there?
If you're investing in a car that long, don't skimp on tech. I'd go for the 2022 Stealth if it were my money (I might actually trade in my 2019 Special Edition for it). Stealth includes MOST of the Platinum trim features to my knowledge, minus the massage seats, upgraded leather and some...
Not to beat a dead horse but has anyone outfitted their Expedition with the new 2021 version of the Pirelli Scorpion All Seasons (Scorpion AS Plus 3)?
Pirelli claims performance, tread wear, etc, is all improved. Trying to figure out if this is the best choice or the Continental CrossContact...
I had the reprogramming and now I get transmission shutter and it didn’t fix any rattling. My service advisor said it’s likely waste gates so he’s going to replace those AND do a transmission rebuild since I’ve been having dow shifting issues but I have to wait the 1000 miles (like that’s going...
The OP mentioned being tired of the interior. If that’s true then spend a little more $$ on a lightly used CPO Navigator if you are willing.
The 2022 Expedition should have a larger display screen and some minor upgrades but let’s be honest, it’s still a fancy “truck”. If you’re tired of your...
I believe they already have plans to launch the long wheelbase ASAP. Will be huge inside too. Already running with 27 cubic feet behind 3rd row and 71 behind 2nd row.
I always told myself, why on earth would someone get a Tahoe or short Expeditiin, then a few years later I did that! Hah. No regrets going short for now with the option to upgrade as we have never once needed more room, yet!
360 camera a must IMO. And yea I’d love the max for more room pending...
ah I didn’t know that about the doors. That’s cool!
For me I have the short version and although people say “just get a crossover” (I was one of those people a few years ago), no crossover has the interior volume, cargo space, towing capacity and overall road dominance. They come close in some...
Yes, I’m expecting many door dings. We try to keep the kids in the leased Volvo XC90 as much as possible and let them trash that! Haha.
But yes, going to try the booster in the small 3rd row seat and see if that works. I love the idea of the Max or Navigator L but my garage will not be a fan...
Yea we’ll be using the smaller 3rd row seat eventually for my then 6 year olds booster when we have our 3rd kid but for garage fit for the Max or Navi L will be TIGHT. As I said before it’s about 18” to squeeze through the car and wall if I back it in, hit my speed bump and just barely close the...
My garage would give me about 1.5 ft between the wall and squeezing through with the Max or Navigator L so I’m very very hesitant. Not sure how easy that would be with an infant car seat and just daily life in general as the car has to go in that stall and that’s a tight squeeze with babies or...
Glad to hear someone on the same situation. Garage space for me will be severely limited if I go Max so really debating if I have to or not.
The large Yakima roof rack seems like a pretty good solution.
I goes I can put on of the kids in the 3rd for for the week and see how limited the cargo...
