How to auto-lock car when walking away

A tangent from the original question because it has been properly answered... The fact that you CAN lock your Expi with the keys in it is an amazing feature. I am amazed that it seems to be a Ford only feature. Patented? We bike, ski, hike etc with friends and I love that I can leave the...

    Hitch mount bike racks

I can't imagine it being easy or efficient to use a roof mounted bike rack on a tall car like an Expedition. It seems like it would be enough of a hassle for one bike on each side and nearly impossible for multiple bikes without a ladder and long arms. I have used and owned some variation of...

    Hitch mount bike racks

VelociRAX!!! I also have Yakima Hangover 6 like Fozzy and a makeshift Hangover 4 on another vehicle. They are great options for adult bikes with suspension forks. That being said, VelociRAX is practically the only vertical style rack system that will hold everything from 20" kids bikes to 29"...

    Cupholder fell through console! Weird!!!

I noticed this thread last week. Good thing because my daughter just told me last night that the cup holder fell through... lol. Normally I would be ticked, but the issue feels manageable having seen this thread. Posting so this pops back up to the top to help others like it did for me.

    Aggravations, Ford's retained ownership.

^^^ This is funny because it is true. The door closes on me all the time when squatted down installing a bike rack or anything in the hitch. Then I can't ever get it to open intentionally when my hands are full and I'm balancing on one leg sweeping the other everywhere under the bumper... lol...

    Replacement tires

I have run Nitto Terra Grapplers on several vehicles including my last Explorer and two sets on my F150 and I have loved them. I just put the newly redesigned Toyo Open Country AT III's on my CR-V and these will be going on my Expedition. The Open Country is three peak severe weather rated and...

    Disappointing 4WD performance on snow.

Not sure which stock tires we're talking about... Hanooks or Michelins, but I'd like to add that the stock Michelin Primacy XC's are total garbage in Snow. I live on the benches of the Wasatch Front range at 5000' elevation. We drive up the canyon to ski and visit family in the canyon many times...

    Rear Window Defrost Connection

Passenger side came off our 2018. The dealer replaced the whole glass under warranty without trying to fix it. As for the Explorer Sport as a loaner, we had one and absolutely loved it. We traded it in for the Expedition mostly because the middle second row seat has a very narrow seatbelt...

    Aftermarket wheels?

Honestly, this is the thread I am most excited about right now. I understand that it was a holiday, but I keep checking in every few days to see if Lou has made any progress.

    Folding Cargo Liners

2018 standard length with LL1Z-6111600-AA Best liner for the back that I could imagine. Only downside is the cubby underneath may not be as easily accessible on a regular basis now and the advanced management package that some have would be unusable. Still worth it. Fit is really good.

    Aftermarket wheels?

Not as blatantly cool as the red trimmed XD's, but you can replace the Method 314 center caps with a Red Logo'd "Method Racing" to keep you satisfied with the red accent theme. I didn't see Red logo'd caps for the 316 you have listed, but I kind of think the 314, 315 and 316 wheels all have the...

    Aftermarket wheels?

Man that's a hard ask because so much personal preference goes into wheels since upgrading to aftermarket is heavily based on a desired look more than performance if we are being honest. My opinion still stands that I really like the Method 314's. I have seen them on other SUV's and a bunch of...

    Folding Cargo Liners

According to Highlightreel and Anerbe... yes. And that is what I ordered for my 18 non-max. Says it should arrive in a week. I will post pics.

I just ordered mine off Ebay for $134. You can also order right from the Ford dealer or online from Ford.

    Aftermarket wheels?

Can you post a pic of your Expy from the side showing the whole vehicle with those wheels? What size? any lift or level?

    Aftermarket wheels?

So instead of Ridge Grapplers, I have had 4 pairs of Terra Grapplers between an F150 (Company vehicle), Explorer and an MDX. I really liked those tires as a great all around - but legitimate AT. I got 75k miles out of one pair on my F150 with lots of towing. If I were heavier into off road and...

    Folding Cargo Liners

Again, Great thread with great info. Thanks for helping me understand this product relating to '18 and '19 models. I will hopefully place an order today since ski season is close and we're going to be pilling wet boots etc. back there soon. Bummer about the cubby space not being usable anymore...

    Folding Cargo Liners

Great thread. I asked my dealer about the Ford folding cargo liner after seeing it in our friends Expedition. We were told that they are not compatible with 2018 model. Can anyone confirm that this is true or false? Doesn't seem like anything should be different if it simply connects with...
