Cold air in passenger foot well

No, I don't hear a clicking. And in fact, the correct temp air is always blowing into the foot well, warm or hot, at least when I'm parked, so I'm now wondering if this is a problem with the inside/outside air blend door?

Cold air in passenger foot well

I have a 2017 XLT. About a year ago, the passenger foot well stopped getting warm when the heat is on, and now all I get is a cold breeze down there. Is there a blend door in that location that's broken? Has anyone else had this issue?

What is this zip tie for ?

I see a large plastic zip tie, broken, hanging down from the fuel tank of my 2017 XLT. What is it for and do I need to replace it?

2017 Crankcase Pressure Sensor Location? (P051B code)

Yes, it fixed the issue. I'm not entirely sure how long you can safely drive on it.

    2017 Max Tire Size?

I'll be due for new tires in the early spring, so figured I'd start looking. I'm really surprised at the lack of definitive answers on here. When I had a Nissan Frontier it was very common knowledge on the message boards what the biggest tire you could fit was. Many, many people had done it.

    2017 Max Tire Size?

"Why do this?" If you have to ask... Thanks for all the help everyone. I think the 285s will work but I wonder if my tire store will go out of their way to help me try out a few different sizes.

    2017 Max Tire Size?

Hi, I have a 2017 XLT and would like to upsize my stock 275/65/R18 tires. What is the largest tire that will fit with no rubbing? Will 285s fit? And I guess my next question would be, whatever the largest tire is, will that also fit in the spare tire well?

Can't unplug sensor, don't want to break it

Ok, doing surgery on my 2017 XLT crankcase pressure sensor, trying to unplug it. I have the little white tab on the plug lifted and pulled back, yet this thing will NOT come off even with a lot of pressure. Am I doing this right? Do I just need to pull harder, or is there a second tab I have to...

2017 Crankcase Pressure Sensor Location? (P051B code)

Just checked, oil is right at the max line. But it's been 4k miles since the oil was changed, so maybe it was overfilled initially? I figured out where the sensor is. What confused me was that I was trying to look for a sensor right on the PCV, but that's not where it is. The line that connects...

2017 Crankcase Pressure Sensor Location? (P051B code)

My 2017 XLT Ecoboost just started throwing code P051B, "crankcase pressure sensor - circuit range/performance". The code always comes up on start, if I clear the code and drive it does not come back until I restart. Is it possible that the pressure sensor is giving an erroneous reading only...

2017 XLT - Air Conditioning Stinks

The air conditioning in my 2017 XLT stinks, especially at first just after its been turned on. I wondered if it was the cabin filter, but apparently there isn't one on my model year? Any other ideas? Is my AC drain plugged with mold? Where do I find that and how can I clean it?

    Manual Mode Engine Pulsing

That's an interesting observation - I've induced it three times now and two of the times were soon after starting up with a cold engine in the mountains in winter. The third time the trans temp was 176F after ~30 min of operation, so that one doesn't fit the theory. Although I was still in the...

    Manual Mode Engine Pulsing

What are your typical flat ground trans temps?

    Manual Mode Engine Pulsing

Trans temp was only 104F. I would have expected it to be much hotter even on the flat. Cruise control was not on.

    Manual Mode Engine Pulsing

Did you ever have any mechanical issues because of it? Trying to figure out if it's expected behavior or if it's a symptom of something wearing out.

    Manual Mode Engine Pulsing

I used the manual transmission mode today for the first time on my new (to me) 2017 XLT. Was going down a steep mountain highway and shifted all the way down to 3rd, which put me at about 2700 RPMs. Worked great and was nice and smooth at first but after awhile it felt like the engine started to...
