Hello friends,
My ‘24 XLT is getting better gas mileage in 4A vs 2H. By 1.5-1.8 mpg. 4 separate tests over 10K. Baffling!
Why?
What’s the fix?
TIA, Bob
Hello friends,
Considering going down the Forscan rabbit hole for the same exact thing: I want digital oil, tranny and coolant temps. Do we know if it is possible in a ‘24 limited like the original post asks?
TIA, Bob
Dear fellow collective members,
My ‘24 seems to be putting out 2 WiFi signals. One called PROJ966a29 which seems to be the link for the phone / Sync / Apple Car Play. There’s the second one that I believe is linked to the AT&T modem for general passenger WiFi (which I renamed once enrolled...
There are a few testimonials in these hallowed pages about Amsoil tranny fluid versus Motorcraft’s. Here is one such thread…

Hello friends,
2024 expedition with the 10 R 80 and have read several places here to do my first fluid change at 30,000 miles and switch to the superior Amsoil transmission fluid.
My dealership service advisor said that switching fluids could void my extra care warranty. If any issues came up...

I'm in the exactly same boat. Went from a (decent '19) to a '24 because I HATED what they did to the '25.
I have the same exact observations with one or two minor differences.
1. The HVAC controls are UNSAFE. Takes far too much attention off of the road to do anything but Auto...
Change oil every 3000 if you’re using the semi synthetic Ford oil every 5000 if you’re using the straight synthetic. Otherwise you’ll be buying turbos somewhere between 60 and 100,000 miles.
Run yours until you’re ready.
The ‘24 has “fixed” most of the issues with the recalls. I do not like the interior or features of the ‘25 personally.
Am 15K into my ‘24 after running 300K in my ‘19.
Hello expedition friends,
My new 24 and a friend’s 24 both make an old school modem style sound that comes from behind the speedometer for the first few miles when you start out driving.
And electronic sound that sounds like the initial connection of a 14.4 baud modem.
My Service guys who are...
If you’re planning on keeping the vehicle for any time that ESP warranty covers through Ford, I would definitely get the Ford warranty. I have never lost money on a Ford warranty in 20+ years.
Now that doesn’t say much for the build quality or reliability just speaks to my irrational love of Fords.
Wherever you go for an oil change, have them do a draw test on your battery.
I recently replaced my Ford AGM with another Ford AGM from the dealership and six months out of the box. It failed the load drop test and they replaced it for free.
Everything else here that has been brought up is...
Hello friends,
Just traded my ‘19 for a new ‘24.
Looking for opinions on first oil change.
500, 1K, 3K, 5K…..?????
Seen opinions on other forums, but have a deep respect for the members of this forum.
What mileage for the first change and analysis?
And then every 5K of course. That’s how...
Good morning friends, quick question: does our transmission have a breather tube? Got my fluid and filter changed at the dealership yesterday like I do every 60,000 miles but afterwards I could smell hot fluid in the cabin and she was running 210 -220 degrees.
I’m just guessing they overfilled...
Like other said, box of chocolates.
If it has the UPDATED phasers and not a new set of old ones and the tranny fluid is not burned, it’s a sound gamble.
Mmiller….
Hey bro, Office said three of those are common for the expedition.
The extended warranty was the best thing you did.
The biggest take away is that there is nothing else comparable in the market that does the same mission with the same reliability and comfort, even with all of its...
Welcome to the forum. This community has saved me more money than you can imagine.
The scorpions are the best tires I’ve ever driven on. You’ll enjoy them. Just make sure whoever put the tires on did a real good alignment, especially the rears.
And don’t let some of the threads scare you. They...
