Bad Cat?
I have P0301 code and it is from a bad cylinder... the compression is extremely low. 2 shops want to replace the entire engine at a cost of ~7K and they wouldn't even try to repair. I have been adding octane boost to keep the idle from being too rough and drove it almost 13K miles so far. Only...- MontanaRK

no compression in 5.4 3v p0301. very rough @idle and in OD
Can anyone see an issue here? Changed plug, boot and much cleaning of valves but still misfire in cyl 1. Happened randomly one day and never cleared. Thanks- MontanaRK

Intermittent Rain Sensing wipers
I had the exact same experience... drove around for weeks having to manually turn them on full blast whenever it rained and the multiple intermittent settings did nothing.
