Rear main seal installation.
I am in the process of installing a new rear main seal in my 97’ 4.6 V8 expedition. I was wondering, should I use lubricant on the outside surface of the seal when pressing it into the aluminum seal housing? I was told by the Ford “parts counter guy” that it goes in dry. That seems...- markyates
