Do I need a new PCM?
Probably the fuel pump cut off switch that is supposed to get activated during an accident. Supposed to stop the pump from emptying the tank onto the ground if a fuel line gets cut. See my other post to see the location- RICHNARDONE

Do I need a new PCM?
fuel cutoff impact switch? try to reset it. it's in the back in the cargo compartment behind a small panel on the left side. mine went off once when i went over a speed bump with some pavers in the back. luckily found it out before the tow truck was called. a few years later, it went off...- RICHNARDONE

had this problem with my 08. seems the fuel pump shut off went bad. actually reset once when i was driving with some pavers in the cargo area and went over a speed bump, the impact of the bricks tricked the car into thinking it was in an accident- RICHNARDONE

Starter Motor Average Life Span???
Replaced mine at 260k. Had the truck since new. 2008 XLTEL. That was last year. After first start up the engine went! So now I've got a 14-year-old truck with a brand new Ford motor.- RICHNARDONE

Replacing Body Mounts
Well ... Finally did the job. Broke one bolt and 3 nut cages. Drilled thru the floor just inside the front and back doors to gain access to the spun nuts. Any tips on how to get to the front most Mount's captured nut? Haven't really tried that one yet. Also most of the bottom washers with...- RICHNARDONE

Really appreciate this detailed information as my 2008 EL XLT with 260k miles needs these bushings replaced.
